maybe controversial but i feel like the way that welcome to new york is considered a staple surprise song for taylor playing at metlife so too should tim mcgraw be a staple for atlanta shows
#now i know taylor cannot let this devolve into every little reference to a location in a song#meaning that people will expect her to play that song in that place#but the mention of georgia in tim mcgraw is just as iconic as wtny or paris or london boy imo#it’s not in the title but it’s PROMINENT#and i’m not complaining about my surprise songs btw like i literally think about them multiple times a week i was SO LUCKY#but oh for it to be summer in georgia and im at a taylor swift concert hearing some good old debut acoustic#oh how i loathe the winter#mine#taylor swift#and as i new yorker i feel lucky that wtny acoustic has never been thrust upon me 😭😭😭#i’m not a hater or whatever i love the song and respect it as a bop but it’s lower tier in terms of surprise songs#so sorry if wtny has ever been your surprise song. no hate and i hope you enjoyed it !!!! <3
