Not Meant To Be

I don’t really know how to begin this, so I guess I’ll jump straight to my main point. Not everyone in this world is going to like you. That’s something you have to learn and accept. You’re never gonna fit in everywhere either, and sometimes the places where you think you will fit in are actually where you feel most alone, and that’s not your fault. You can try to fit in, but that would be changing yourself, or making yourself seem to be someone your not and if people then start to like that person then that’s not okay, because that person that you've morphed into isn’t you. It’s there version of you that you had to be to get noticed, and sometimes getting noticed isn’t everything it’s cut out to be. Sometimes you want to be the kid in the back of the class who never speaks up or says anything to anyone, who hides away from all the cliques at lunch times because you’d rather be alone than be someone you’re not. And that’s ok. There are gonna be places you go that you realise aren't for you and that you should be somewhere else but, hey, everyone has to suffer sometimes. I know I did. I used to hate school, and leaving a year early was the best decision of my life, but I know that right now is not my forever place either, just because I'm kind of happy where I am now doesn't mean this is where I stay for the rest of my life. I know that I’ll end up where I'm supposed to be. So don’t worry that right now people don’t like you, or that you don’t fit in or that you used to but now don’t anymore. It just means that you’re no longer in the place you should be, but you’ll find it soon enough. You have your whole life to spend in the right place, so take some time trying to find it. Explore. You never know, you might find the place you belong is where you least expected it to be.
