Ok you know what I actually do have 1 real New Year’s resolution . 2024 is the year where I get more firm on introducing my pronouns along with my name when I go to a job. And my title. And I stand firm and correct if the person I’m working with if they mess it up instead of just letting it go because I’ll prob never have a job in the same classroom with the same person again. I will stop letting myself be misgendered out of ease or missing my window to introduce my pronouns

the only thing that keeps me going in the school year is academic validation

man okay so my birthdays tomorrow and i am just rapidly approaching being 30 and i absolutely didnt think i would ever get here

but on the flip side like getting to 25 was kinda the big step of 'oh shit i am absolutely and inarguably an adult and have to act like it now' and after that its just increasing stages of adult

so like

yeah i guess i'll be thirty someday and so long as i keep being a decent human being and an incredibly shredded buff bi icon then its fine
