↳ DCOMS BASED ON BOOKS (that i have read)

hiii sorry i disappeared!! i'll ask one question for each day i was gone: 1) what's your favorite non-musical 2010s dcom and why? 2) do you have a favorite holiday themed disney channel episode? 3) i don't think i've asked you about those music videos yet, so what are some jonas brothers songs (or any song in general) you wish you could direct mvs for and what would you want to do? - 🎄

All good! School has kept me super busy so I get it

1) non musical 2010s fave is either Avalon High or Geek Charming (though the actor kinda ruined that one for me because he was creepy in real life so…). I never read Avalon high but I love the way they integrated legend into the story in a way that made sense but still was fun. Also apparently it was a lot of peoples gay awakening? So that’s fun. And I love the film storyline of geek charming. I would love to work in the film industry so I found it cool that there was a film aspect to it.

2) I mean the tslozac one that recreates the story of Christmas is a classic. I also like the proud family Kwanzaa episode. One of the characters has the same name as me but also it wasn’t a holiday I saw outside this so it was cool they included it

3) there are so many. I studied film in school (though my focus was education) and I’d love to have the opportunity to work in the industry. My dream was always to direct music videos so I have all these dreams of things I would do. I won’t bore you with too many details but the one that always stuck in my head most was World War III by the Jonas Brothers. I have this image in my head of like a stage and three vignettes each being lit up individually and there’s like a huge company that storms the stage being led by the main character in this “war”. Like it’s all so clear in my head and idk why that song stuck out the most to me but it did. So yeah
