I think the reason that the Sons of Garmadon were such a flop to me is because their not all that interesting? Like most of Ninjago, it's great in concept. Biker gang murder cult is an INCREDIBLY hard concept and I wish there was more. Like why are all these people following Garmadon and Harumi? This is a cult with a LOT of numbers, it's a wide-spread cult thats hiding in plain sight, lead by Ninjargon royalty nonetheless. I get Harumi's motivations, and maybe I'm just forgetting something, but WHY did it get so big? What's the reason? A simple 'The SoG are all bitter citizens who lost everything after the Great Devourer attack' and that could justify numbers, and then added people who lost their way of life because of the reckless fights the ninja partook in. Ninjago city fell FAST once Harumi put her plan into motion, maybe she had politicians and other important figures on her side that were willing to step down so everything could collapse. I'm not sure of this makes much sense, fill free to elaborate or add knowledge that I might not be aware of/forgetting, but I've been thinking about this lately.
please pretty please can we take a moment to acknowledge the fact that, for a brief moment in time, Dareth was quite literally the elemental master of shit
Rewatching got me thinkin how morro never unlocked his dragon and there was a wind dragon RIGHT THERE (This is for my AU here morro is human aka solid and not gas lol)
She has claimed the master of wind as hers mwhahaha
