OC_tober Dnd Edition Day 23 Gave Nikolas a bit of an update for his dragon form. I haven't drawn it since high school! But besides that, soft boy Nicky would absolutely be a druid. It's the pinnacle class for vibing with animals, and it makes it easier when he also looks like one himself

I've been meaning to get myself a new lanyard and figured it'd be cute if I try and make my own design. So here's a fun looping chibi tower of the OGs!

They're quick sketches but I wanted to do this before I forget! I did the "Let your characters draw themself" art challenge goin' on Twitter! It was pretty interesting figuring out how these guys would draw. Derek and Kalmin were easy. Derek only knows the chibi version of him 'cause he was taught how to do it by Kee. He's the one who draws those Derek Was Here attacks. Kalmin is a big o' cheater and just copied the style I regularly draw in. Nickolas technically would have renaissance training on how to draw a human, but he hasn't done it in a while so he's rusty. Luca is interesting 'cause in theory they should at least be able to draw something since they do a lot of fashion/cosplay, but that's not really the case here. Yoyo's not terrible, she does a lot of scientific botanist drawings and other detailed illustrations for her spellbook but that really doesn't include people, but at least she knows how to shade. And lastly there's Azalea who's just tryin' her best and having a blast! Template by @gruepyonart

OCtober Day 11 - Green

Oh I’m lovin’ this new look for Nickel! I've always labeled him as my green character but he never wears any green! He just transforms into a green dragon. Had to change that 

Nickolas Valji is the youngest brother of Derek Gray and Christina Light (they all dropped their original last name), but unlike those two immortals Nickolas is only “half immortal”. Meaning he’s very much dead, a ghost, but a very corporeal ghost where he can still interreact with objects and people can still touch him as if they were real. This also includes his limited access to his previous powers as the first Keeper. His soul is bound to his siblings, mainly Christina, but so long as they’re still on the earth so is he. 

Besides that, Nickolas is a bit of a shy young man who prefers to interreact more with animals than people considering in his living life he lived with animals for most of his years. Both Derek and Christina try to help him out of that shell in their own ways, and it’s an unspoken truce between them that they don’t mess with Nickolas in their sibling war. Nickolas loves his siblings too much for them to want to drag him into their problems 

A bit of a fun challenge from @mist-me. At the time of making this, I took the wand outfits I had in Animal Crossing and drew my OCs in them. It's silly! It's fun! And it's a good chance to dust these guys off. I miss drawing all of my mains and more

I started this a while ago but like the wand outfit thing and the Six fanart thing came up so I put this aside for a bit. I turned my OCs into villagers! I had this backlogged ever since last year when I got New Leaf. Now I finally got the chance to draw it!

Kalmin: I'm giving Aunt Christina and Uncle Nickolas a tour of the new comics. As you can see, the biggest change besides the digital-ness is everyone is in color. You've also got the same borders and format, and there's the audience! Derek: No! No! The tour is done! Now! Kalmin: Aw, how come? Derek: You can't just address the audience! Kalmin: Why not? Kee does it all the time Derek: She's the only one allowed, that's why. Now end this comic ~~ It's too much fourth wall breaks for Bro-Face to handle

You're the bravest, courageous one of us! Kalmin: Yeah, bu I'm also hardworking, dedicated, and loyal. That and it's fun to shatter people's expectations of me. I think I make a good Hufflepuff Kee: You're definitely happy enough to be one ~~ It still baffles me to this day
