Nickimand fic that's armand and him doing a duet with armand on the cello... biggest issue is most of the tactile stuff I remember from playing was related to placing my fingers on the fingerboard, or more specifically trying to get my smaller hands to stretch enough where I could hit the shifts and stuff correctly but Armand got them big ass hands second only to Lestat and long fingers I don't think he'd have any problem really. Anyway coven fledgling teaching the coven leader and ofc hands.

oh i’d definitely want a book from either bianca or eleni’s POV.

i know we already have a decent bit of my beloved bianca in armand and marius’ books but i would love to just have a little bit more of her background from HER perspective and then learn about what she got up to after she left marius. where did she go? who did she meet? ALSO HER FLEDGLING, LIKE, HELLO??? NOT EVEN A NAME LESTAT???

and then i feel like an eleni book could be interesting bc we’d learn more about her backstory along with those like rhosh benedict allesandra eugenie etc AND we could follow her into her CoD days with armand and then eventually see her theater days with nicki!! i think an outsider POV of nickimand would be FASCINATING. and when/why did she end up leaving the theater? did she take eugenie with her? what’s that relationship like? there’s just so much we don’t know!! ultimately i just reeeally wish we had another book from a female perspective lmao.

AHHHH there isn’t language that can fully express my love for him but i will try

first impression: when i read tvl at 15 i IMMEDIATELY imprinted on him because i was in a whole goth/punk/grunge moment, this is also when i read dorian gray and hamlet for the first time so nicki slotted perfectly into that byronic tragic gothic niche that i was very obsessed with. i made fanart of him my desktop screensaver and i printed out the line lestat says about his soul’s illumination and laminated it and attached it to the front of my drama class notebook. it was very serious

impression now: pretty much nothing has changed except i have more of an appreciation for the thematic ideals he represents in the narrative and his character’s contrast with lestat’s!

favorite moment: it has been and always will be when he senses lestat nearby and plays the violin on the balcony while lestat watches on the roof. i always thought that scene was so deeply romantic and heartbreaking and cinematic. my other favorite moment is his little “coin of the realm” speech after lestat rescues him

idea for a story: i’m a believer in nickimand so i’d love to see something really toxic about his time in the theatre with armand

unpopular opinion: based on some of the posts i’ve seen lately. uhhh he was absolutely a victim of everyone around him and lestat entirely fucked up with him in every way imaginable! also when he says he secretly wanted them to fail, that’s only partly true; he has a darkness in him that he openly admits to and states that he NEEDS lestat to counteract that. that “secret” was his own pessimistic self sabotaging desires that he actively tried to push away so he wouldn’t hurt lestat; he then used it to fuel lestat’s hatred of him in retaliation for the mess lestat made, but it was not something based in the whole genuine truth of their relationship
