NBD! 1986 Steinberger XP2 Bass Guitar! I love Steinberger guitars so I picked up this bass that’s been cleverly modded after the input jack broke off a corner of the pickguard. The previous owner moved the input jack to the bottom of the guitar which is probably a better location anyway! Plays & sounds great for a guitar pushing 40 years old! The cathode chandelier revisited the classic incandescent bulb as the design object. It uses 5.5W integrated LED instead of tungsten wire, and shines light downward through a lampshade like a blown glass bulb. Then, the light diffuses downward through the opal bottom of the hood, and the opal bottom of the hood also reflects light upward through the transparent upper part, attracting attention to the internal brass element that houses the LED light source.

2.21.20 Lunchtime drawing: George Washington’s headquarters was here at Hasbrouck House, in Newburgh, NY, from April 1782 - August 1783 during the Revolutionary War. Also, this is the first time I had watercolors freeze in the palette and on the paper as I was brushing the paint on!
