Summary: Anima awakens after the events of X-2, into the Eternal Calm, with no idea where to go. She believes her parents are most likely dead and so is husband and son. After spending a while in nearby inns in Luca and Bevelle to deal with the problems after spending so long as a Fayth, she finally decides to call into one of the few places she dared to call home. Guadosalam's mansion has been vacated by the Leblanc Syndicate and she dared not think she'd be welcomed with open arms by its new occupant. However, she's very much surprised by the welcome she receives.

5 Year Anniversary - Thank You!

Today, February 4, 2019, marks not only Sceada’s 25th birthday, it is also the 5th anniversary of me creating this blog here, and beginning to roleplay as my little Burmecian.

5 years... that’s a long time. Time, during which much has happened. There have been so many adventures and meetings, have been so many encounters and situations I was allowed to write with you lovely people. There has been so much room for my character to grow, to learn, to form friendships and bonds, becoming a better man in the process. There has been so much development, so many ways in which he’s changed, so many people he connected to...

And I wouldn’t want to miss a single one of them.

Sure, there have been bad times too. Times where there wasn’t much happening, or where that which was happening ended up leaving a heavy burden upon us, where it affected us in more ways than we imagined, both positively and negatively, and there have even been tears we cried over it all. Be it because things did not work out as we hoped, be it because we felt the pain of our characters, or be it even because we lost friends. For after all, paths not only cross and align at times, they also separate again, with some never to meet ours again, no matter how sad a thought this may be.

But such is life, and rather than list off all the things that happened, all the stories and ideas that developed and bloomed in those five years, I’d like to do something else:

I want to thank everyone who walked this path together with me, no matter how briefly.

And so I have spent the last week going through my blog and a total of 4682 posts with the goal of listing up everyone that has ever interacted with Sceada and this blog here. Whether that be by simple starters or lengthy plays, by sending in asks or perhaps by drawing a lovely picture of him unprompted, everyone who ever interacted with me and Sceada here on this blog, I wish to thank you.

And so, even though many of you are no longer here, have moved on or perhaps even forgotten about this here all together, I would like to list you all up here, under the cut. All 217 of you that I managed to count.

Consider this a huge thank you for everything, my friends! I do sincerely hope we’ll get to share more stories in the future, and that we’ll get to connect with each other, be it again after a long time, some more, or even entirely new. 6. What’s something about your character that you wouldn’t like if you had to spend time with them?

Well if I had to stick around for a while I certainly would not appreciate all his lying bullshit, but on surface level I think I’d rather like the persona he puts off. How much of a lie it might all be is a different story.

33. What do you dislike about roleplaying ships/romance?

I adore playing shippy/romantic RPs actually! There's really nothing I dislike about them when I find the right partners to interact with aside from the way it kind of takes over my brain in relation to how I think about Axel and that character, regardless. Like, I think I just have a tendency to let it drive me a little but I don't think that really has much to do with the RPing itself that's just a dumb personality thing :c

I’m going to avoid some of the more obvious choices here. Let’s see…

Interestingly enough, it saddens him to think that people wouldn’t share their problems or concerns with him… or get him involved when they needed assistance of any kind. Whether it’s because they didn’t want to worry him or bother him (or whatever the reason, really), such behavior upsets him despite the fact that he’s more often than not guilty of doing this exact thing himself.

☛ : What is their typical response to being given orders?

It depends on a number of factors - where and when Vayne is in his life, what is going on, who is giving the orders, what has led up to the events before said instructions are given - really, Vayne is not unreasonable, he can be dictated to and carry out the commands of others though he does sometimes come off as a bit leery. He may hang back, if others are involved, to get a better view of the situation, but constantly Vayne is a man of action. He is more active than reactive, anyway, and it is in the current default version that has him so confused, as an example, when this sort of situation comes up.

He gave up his position, something he is used to controlling and having. He’s supposed to let go don’t you even dare but it can be hard for him, and at times leaves him floundering, even whilst he formulates plans on unsure grounds, make more mistakes, joke, even laugh. Maybe this seems very basic to some people (or meaningless), but Vayne has become very used to control, and the subtle allowances HE allows others to perform such as directing his movements are/were only due to prior words or trust shared or something along those same lines (an example of this is say a Judge Magister directed him in an intense situation - he allows this to happen because due to the oaths and extreme loyalty JMs are supposed to have on an intrinsic level for members of House Solidor, it is not supposed to be questioned. The mere idea is pretty much laughable (but this also makes the situation in the game where this event actually occurs to the contrary that much more poignant). This is just how things are - you don’t question the nerves in your hand screaming “PAIN!”, you simply respond, jerk your hand and body away to stop the pain and danger).

I’d tell her how much she inspired me, how her story and her actions gave me strength as a child to stand up for my beliefs and to remind her just how strong she is. Because I feel like she forgets that sometimes, that she has done a lot of good and she was only a teenager, a child.

“Mun-Directed Questions About Roleplaying!”

What drew you to rping this character?

Basically, Emma is really bad ass and I love her strength of character. I was also very happy that she's basically a canon feminist in the show so I use that as an excuse to blog some feminist things on here lol I'm also really drawn to her past and how she grew up. Overall I think she's a very interesting character with a lot of potential and I enjoy fitting her into different verses (though I had no idea I'd be doing that when I first picked her up).

What’s something you dislike about rping a canon character?

Mmm, you know I've mostly rp'd canon characters. I really enjoy them, but I don't like having one that has too much back story. If that makes sense? I usually go for characters that have just enough information for me to get an idea of their personality and then I go from there. Back story, quirks, parents, past, etc. I like coming up with a lot of that myself when my muse tells me what happened. So I guess I dislike rping a canon character who has every little detail of their life explained? lol Does that even make sense?

What was your first roleplay character? 

My first one on Tumblr was Reina from Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns. She's a botanist whose very quiet, keeps to herself, likes to study plants. She'd often talk to them, would get very flustered when someone expressed interest in her (to the point of running into a tree).

RPing in HM fandom goes back to my other point. Most of the time, with those characters, all your given is a brief description of their personality/how they talk/maybe a bit of their past. Other than that, free game.
