Things experience by me and Dani at the theater tonight (we saw Six and it was fantastic):
- Dani forgot she had it and tried to walk in with a taser. Was promptly told to bring it back to the car by security.
- someone in the elevator quizzed me on my knowledge of Michigan because I’m wearing a Michigan sweater.
- saw someone from my childhood who is now interning with Dani
- held hands trying to get down the stairs, almost fell.
- Dani flat tired a girl so bad her heel popped out of her shoe

We do all state inspections on trucks, trailers, cars, buses, RVs, and all commercial vehicles. Commercial vehicles are $40, while regular cars are $7. Bring your insurance ID. We have several inspectors, so there is no wait time. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Navistar Defense LLC, Madison Heights, Wisconsin, was awarded a $60,919,205 firm-fixed-price contract for refurbishment and upgrade of MaxxPro PLUS Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. The International M1224 MaxxPro MRAP is an armored fighting vehicle designed by American company Navistar International's subsidiary Navistar Defense along with the Israeli Plasan Sasa, who designed and manufactures the vehicle's armor. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work will be performed in West Point, Mississippi, with an estimated completion date of July 1, 2025. Fiscal 2024 Foreign Military Sales (United Arab Emirates) funds in the amount of $60,919,205 were obligated at the time of the award. US Army Contracting Command, Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, is the contracting activity.

2. what's a fic that took you to an emotional/dark/hard place?
You Have Reached the Voicemail Box of... Henry and Walter. That fic was a lot about internalized homophobia and bad parenting, which wasn't the most pleasant thing to write. Of course, there were good parts too. Funny parts. "Disaster Boy" parts. But yeah, the lows were hard to get through.
8. does anyone in your personal life know you write fic? if not, would you tell anyone?
Yes. Dani (@the-navistar-carol), who is my most trusted editor and beta reader, has been one of my best friends for years. And Sarah (@sarahisatotalgeek), whom you all have met through asks, has been one of my best friends since my freshman year of high school. They both know about my fanfic habits and my tumblr obsession. There are other people in my life that know I write it (Golden Retriever Friend and my mother, for example), but Dani and Sarah have the most firsthand experience with it.
15. How do you think your writing has improved over time?
I can't even begin to tell you how much my writing has improved over time. First of all, switching fandoms brought around the switch of povs from first to third person. That in and of itself was a godsend. But literally just looking back to like the first chapter of Screwed vs the last chapter is like night and day. I feel like I've improved a lot in a million different ways. Each character is distinct now. They don't blend together. My metaphors tend to make more sense now, too.
TLDR: I write with purpose now.
