my opinion on ginga as a series is like.... its so good but also so bad. but its so fucking good.
#.txt#ginga#the worst part abt the anime at least is the misogyny#but writing (esp in gdw) can be a bit.... not good quality wise#like how the narrative itself seems to be conflicted abt weeds philosophy regarding killing#like it SAYS that weed is in the right but doesnt actually agree with that#theres very few times where leaving the bad dogs alive was a good idea bc they love coming back n trying to kill his ass again#the big baddies always end up being killed by some other means#so its like.... it ends up looking like weed is too naive n it ends up getting innocent ppl killed#n the narratives answer is still always to kill the villains despite saying that weed is right for not killing them
