Hear me out Virgil being a MonsterHigh Fan. Like it got the edgy goth/ Emo vibes but in the kid area like the nightmare before christmas, they look freaking rad and they are great for display. So imagine he would have a little collection on a shelf !
And one day Roman will discover the lil collection and Virgil freak out because he thinks Roman would made fun of him, while the only think the creative side is thinking is that he is going to make him the coolest MonsterHigh custom doll ever made for his birthday ( because you know those doll are hella creative and stylish and Roman would love that )
