the garden my grandparents used 2 have was pretty big n had two super long walls around it tht were covered in this GORGEOUS blackberry plant which wud bloom every spring.. i miss it sm !

#my grandpa took REALLY good care of it. the walls had several lines of wire so the plant cud climb and get better support #in colder seasons and esp when it rained he covered the entirety of the walls with a net to protect the dormant plant #and when the days started 2 got warmer the MOLE CRICKETS wud attack the plant's root #so he had this psycho method to kill them all one by one it was kinda fucked up & i helped him every time i was fascinated #my grandparents r alive btw lol <3 they just dont live in that house anymore and they didnt plant blackberries again (2 much work)#di4ry
