fuck doc martens im never spending this much money on trash shoes again nothing but pain i swear to you . everyone give up on the docs im sick of it
#ive had these for over a year n theyre never comfortable#my last pair was a little better bc they were too big (they dont do half sizes so fuck off for that also)#but i had to wear 2 pairs of socks w them. bc too big.#now these ones just hurt like hell esp on my bad leg like my knee gets all terrible n they cut my ankles up#even the bigger ones that were a little more comfortable still left me with scars on my feet bc theyre fucking awfulllll#im sneakerpilled now i cant be fucking bothered.

Just having a little moment of gratitude for my body and how strong and resilient it is and trying to hold on to that
#idk why I just was reflecting on the first two weeks of this#when I couldn’t even turn in bed bc not only could I not use both feet but I hurt both shoulders too#so I couldn’t use my arms at all. couldn’t lay on my side. could BARELY get shirts on my myself and it hurt like hell#but my shoulders got better after a couple of weeks (and thank god I didn’t tear something there too) and they’ve hardly bothered me#just waiting for the ankles to follow suit. they will. I just have to wait. they’re already so much better.#oh I was reflecting on this BECAUSE I just effortlessly turned in bed. which still surprises me!#anyway. wow we’ve come a long way my body can really heal itself !

well I WAS feeling like I wasted the day and should lay down in the road but then I picked up my harmonica for the first time (...not counting yesterday when I blew a few experimental notes) in like. At least two years? And played Red is the Rose and Dirty Old Town not toooooo too badly. And actually today was wonderful.
#music is amazing and the harmonica is so much less hassle to set up than the violin#not that the violin is THAT much hassle but. There's still more obstacles involved#also I have no motivation for the violin right now#my ankle hurts (this is unrelated)#it has been hurting for over a month and I probably should've seen a doctor by now. I'm going tomorrow#I just. Kept thinking it would go away#Not sure what I did to it except the theory that maybe it's somehow plantar fasciitis related/ related to my messed up feet

#physically disabled#cane user#hypermobility syndrome#hypermobility spectrum disorder#turns out the random blue cane that my dad never used chilling in the corner of the laundry room with the brooms and stuff#was actually mine from when i was 8 and hurt my ankle badly after jumping 10 feet down a stairwell#it’s the same ankle that’s fucked up and painful and clicky nowadays#i wonder if that’s why it’s like that??#or just coincidence#so anyways my parents were like ‘yeah ofc you can use it it’s yours from when you hurt your leg jumping down a staircase’#and now i have a cane 🔥

Gravity falls has wrecked me emotionally I am not okay
#I DONT REMEMBER IT BEING THIS SAD#The tale of two stans episode broke me I had to take a break from watching to process it#I have so much shit I need to do but I haven't done anything because all I can think about is them#I literally sobbed in public 😭 We were eating in a restaurant and my sister talked about Stan and I started crying#with actual tears and people were looking at me weirdly because I'm loud and was rambling on and on and on about gravity falls while crying#My feet hurt so badly too.. Context: I love to pace around my room esp when I need to think#I needed to walk and think about them because they're so sad and my feet are so sore and my ankle and knee are killing me#My legs are also uneven lengths which makes walking more painful#Shows usually don't upset me and I usually cheer whenever something tragic happens..#Going to go and read more fanfiction to make myself feel better

bruhh the world really hates me this week
#let's see what happened? what hell did I go through?#we were down 12 people this week on the team- so we had two 12-hour work days#my body hurts and my feet are blistered- and I was assigned to help my supervisor wrap up in equipment for the week#which I barely got training on#yesterday I accidentally tripped the emergency fire exit alarm in walmart cause my dumbass didn't watch where I was going#which caused me to have a meltdown which I was trying VERY hard to hold back and not sob my eyes out in front of my boss#My belt buckle broke while I was working today so I had to stop and shop for a new one#I tripped and ate shit while packing the equipment cases into my supervisor's hotel room last night#my leg gave out from under me when I tried to stand up after counting a shelf in grocery and I rolled my ankle#I got lost when my supervisor told me to take the equipment to the back room#I had to stop and ask two walmart employees where it was located- neither of them knew#I've been overstimulated since first break this morning#I got so many scratches on my arrms from counting pegs in apparel and those bitches are so sharp they'd make my therapist concerned#aaaand while wrapping up equipment there was a bike hung up on a shelf and I ran face-first into the handlebar and I bent my glasses frames#so now I gotta get those fixed#I'm quickly making my way to the top in competing for 'most directionally challenged' as my supervisor jokingly put it#I'M GONNA GO DOWN TO THE LOBBY TOMORROW MORNING AND MAKE MYSELF A WAFFLE FOR BREAKFAST#I DESERVE A TREAT

i can tell people around me are uncomfy when i use my cane
and like, dude, it's helping me
#i get sore feet very easily#even just from standing up a moderate amount of time#(the shower chair we got for mum turned out to be a gosh send for me too)#and i have weak ankles that don't take my weight so good#the cane makes me hurt less#ppl keep suggesting physiotherapy to me#and i know its cuz the sight of a young person using a cane makes them uncomfortable#like im literally holding a thing that helps#disability devices aren't bad things. they help

wore skater shoes to work yesterday even tho it was raining and slipped and fell twice 😭 once down the stairs of my apartment (hurt my butt and lower back) and then when my uber was picking me up at the end of the day (twisted my ankle in the mud). im this close 👌to throwing them out lol
