Old, old art. Almost a decade ago. Don’t think I posted it here, but it came back up in memories, and man, I missed this kind of work! Book covers in ink and watercolor.
Also I know the movie pisses off a lot of fans, but I still think the red death costume for the movie slaps in that. For stage, probably not, but on film, hellll yeahhhh.
(Also he looks like he’s mimicking Raoul, and that’s on point for the character.)

Beauregard was a hungry young girl - a runaway from everywhere she'd ever been. She was no stranger to the world, she was no stranger to the bitterest of winds.
Jester was the daughter of a muse - a girl who wore her heart out on her sleeve. One might even call her naive to the ways of the world.
But strangely enough, she had a gift to give - a song to sing, and a certain way of seeing the world.
