***SPOILERS FOR THIS WEEK'S SEASON 9 EPISODE***

There ain't no conflict that can't be resolved with Jasper's famous cookie pizzas ^^

Jasper's ACTUAL Thoughts: ...ok, to be fair, I DO like the moral that they were going for - being older doesn't amount to much unless you have the wisdom and experience to do the right thing. HOWEVER... I really feel like this was meant to be an early-season episode and they just didn't try to work with it until now when the series is almost over. I say this because we've seen that the CMC are SOMEWHAT CAPABLE of being responsible ponies (Not always as a group, but usually individually)... and we've seen in "The Cart Before the Ponies" that they learned that grownups don't always know best. I will say this, their grown mare designs are very pretty (Even though it kinda confirms that Scootaloo's wings will never grow and she may NEVER be able to fly... that's kinda tragic :( ), though I didn't really care for how their first move as adult ponies is to flaunt how grown up they are... seriously, if you look in the background during their little race through PonyVille and their song on the train, you see ponies with the most uncomfortable, annoyed faces... and if fits perfectly with how these three are acting (And saying "Because I Say So" is NOT a valid way to win an argument... it's a valid reason to get a bowling pin chucked at yo face!). On a positive note, I did get a chuckle with the return of that crazy ticket pony from "Sounds of Silence", the Whirling Mungtooth was cute and... definitely unique, and I liked how Fluttershy and Twilight were able to figure out what happened without needing an explanation. So yeah, overall - a good moral, but feels kinda late to the game.

The Last Cutie Mark Crusaders Episode before the Series End...

The Crusaders are going to Appleloosa County Fair and prepared everything expect one thing: a Guardian to take them there. They asked Rainbow, Rarity, Applejack, Twilight and Fluttershy but they’re too busy to take them there (since they forgot to ask before getting everything else ready). And everyone also warns them that they can’t go by themselves because they could get lost or worse...

Three ponies off the top of my head that they could ask are Scootaloo’s Aunts and Pinkie Pie. They don’t ask them on screen, but I’m gonna assume they asked them before Fluttershy.

Fluttershy and Twilight are specifically researching a strange magical flower Starswirl found. So when they leave thinking the CMC won’t do anything, the CMC make a wish to be older and the Flower makes them so. Keep in mind, no one knew what the flower can do, so this is all a complete accident.

Now that they’re older, their first idea is to go to the Fair. After all, they’re adults now so they can be responsible like adults, right? Long story short, no. So after a song, getting off at the wrong stop, and getting lost, they find a pair of ponies who could lead them to the fair.

The pair in question: Spur (the filly) and Biscuit (the colt). Biscuit wants to take their pet to the Fair but Spur doesn’t think its a good idea. You can tell she is the more responsible one, but the CMC see this as a lesson in sharing. After all, what can go wrong when you share?

Well, for starters, they’re kids in a fair. So when Spur was looking for them for advice, they’re off going all over the fair. Its because Biscuit is putting their pet in a show. They still think its a good idea and tell her to probably take a break from taking care of the pet. And what could go wrong?

Bloofy, their pet, happens to be a Whirling Mungtooth. When excited, they create Tornados. Luckily Twilight and Fluttershy figured out what happened to the CMC and were there to fix the problem: get the one who takes care of Bloofy, being Spur, to calm it down. She does and Bloofy wins Most Interesting Creature Award.

Using the last petal, the CMC are back to normal ages again. They learn that being bigger doesn’t mean you’re older. You just happen to be bigger than normal. They apologize to the older kids they gave bad advice to and wish to be friends. They agree as long as when they visit they bring a real adult.

Honestly, for being the final CMC episode, its not as good as the Last Crusade. Its still a fine episode, but the Last Crusade had Scootaloo’s parents reveal and basically an overlook of their time as the Cutie Mark Crusaders. I would have personally flipped the episodes so Last Crusade would be the last CMC episode.

As for the Rewrite, they still need to find a responsible pony who could make sure they don’t get lost. If only one of them knew a pony who is responsible, with a job that makes them protect the entire planet, with a tool that can basically do anything the user wants... OH WAIT, THEY DO! 

Apple Bloom is that mature Pony and to bring in the fun we’ll have Spike, Twist and Rumble be part of the trip going there. Considering Spike took the CMC to the Crystal Empire with no problem, and Apple Bloom being totally responsible, I see no issues with them getting to Appleloosa. So they see Biscuit and Spur arguing and while Apple Bloom does seem to notice Bloofy being a little anxious, she does convince Spur to let Biscuit take him to the fair (after all, a Super Hero would give good advice, right?).

Apple Bloom, being responsible, let the others go as she stays with Spur and Biscuit. So when Biscuit heard about the Animal Showcase, Spur tells Apple Bloom exactly what Bloofy is and the deal with it. Apple Bloom agrees about not doing it, but Biscuit does it anyway behind their back. It leads to the Tornado, Apple Bloom protecting the people and Spur stopping it.
