jens is a human exobiologist, they’re not technically a starfleet officer but they do research aboard starships most of the time. theyre kind of a grumpy asshole before u get to know them, at which point they’re just soft and kind of an idiot. he is a men’s tits activist and also just a shameless self-insert.

t’laith is vulcan, she traveled around the quadrant with her parents (who, by vulcan standards, are outrageous hedonistic hippies) for most of her early life. she specializes in anthropology and is fascinated by other cultures. she finds the absolute wildest ways to interpret logic and while she doesn’t really express emotions she radiates the most chaotic energy possible. she drinks monster energy like it’s water and insists it’s fine because she’s vulcan. she n jens are BROS

yrsai is half-klingon half-bajoran and an engineer on ds9. she was raised by her father in bajor and was part of the resistance (which is pretty much where she learned engineering) and her mother is a full on klingon warrior who serves under martok during the dominion war. she’s shy and kind of standoffish but Will Not Hesitate to throw a wrench at someone who’s being an asshole

zar is a cardassian who was abandoned as a baby on bajor, he grew up on the streets and snuck onto ds9 after the occupation ended. as a character i havent rlly developed him fully but he is a Scoundrel and Certified Little Man and adopts garak as a father figure accidentally.

I think T’laith and Solar (Young Vulcan botanist) would have a TON of fun together, T’laith would show Solar her interpretations of Sareks teachings, and Solar would be fascinated and also a little scandalized since he was brought up Very Traditionally, but I think T’laith would get him out of his shell a little bit.

Whooooo boy this one is gonna be big. I’ll do all of theirs at the same time.

What I think of this character:

Amadeus: at first I was a little unsure about Amadeus. But, then again, if anyone is claiming to be better than Peter I get riled up. But I fell in love with him quickly. I love Amadeus and his genius-ness.

Flash: at first, Flash was just FLASH. The jock that bullies Peter. But I REALLY started liking him in season 2 when they expanded his character arc and started revealing more about his personal life, like where he lived and things he had. I adore Flash now. He’s one of my favorite characters.

MJ: I’ve always liked MJ, but I was sad that we didn’t get to see much of her in seasons 2-3. She came back in season 4 for the last of it, which was cool. I liked how she brought up the argument that having powers means taking responsibility, but you also have a responsibility to yourself and what you want to do with your future (that’s not being a superhero).

Miles: I love Miles. The first time we saw him in season 3 and I was head over heels. He’s amazing and sweet and funny and I’d do anything for him.

Ships I have for these characters

Amadeus: okay, I’ll admit it. I kinda ship Amadeus and Miles. I feel like they just have so much in common and that’d they’d be an adorable pair.

Flash: like I said in my Peter post, I ship Flash and Peter. Buuuuut I also REALLY ship Flash and Ben. It’s the whole enemies-to friends-to lovers trope that I adore. And then both staying at the Academy to teach only made me ship them MORE.

MJ: I ship MJ and Peter a little, bit a part of me also ships Ava and MJ too. But I also like MJ as a single lady, so idk.

Miles: like I said above, Miles and Amadeus. I think it’d be a little cute.

Non romantic OTP’s

Of course i love all their friendships with Peter, buuuuuuut,

Amadeus: I don’t know why, but I really want a friendship between Amadeus and Ka-Zar. It’s the whole super modern kid with jungle-Tarzan kid thing and I think they’re both such opposites that they kinda click.

Flash: Flash and Luke are such sports bros I imagine they have a sport night every week (I like to imagine that Squirrel Girl loves sports too and joins them). I also love Flashes interactions with all the Web Warriors.

MJ: we didn’t get to see much of MJ, but I love her friendship with Harry. They just bond over Peter’s absences and antics.

Miles: Miles and all the Web Warriors. Those interactions give me life. I just have to say it.
