Note this campaign is a great initiative from the @motorcyclelawscotland team I can't agree more to educate people and save lives. But Why did they choose the photo of SH on this post when he promoted his whisky 🥃 during his 2021 whisky campaign in Scotland?

This photo is in 2021 and was the last time SH was seen on his customised Harley Davidson motorbike after his bike mishap in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We don't know exactly what kind of support SH is providing to this volunteering effort by appearing in his promotional material and asking his fans to sign up. However, it's interesting to note that Motorcycle Law Scotland is urging the Scottish community to be involved in this Road Safety campaign and at the same time they following the actor's alcohol business on Instagram.🤷‍♀️

The one safe option for Road Safety If you're driving, is not to drink any alcohol and not promote it.

Birthday weekend

What a lovely Birthday weekend. Friday my husband picked up the cookie cake I requested. At the park Bee invited all of her friends over. Surprisingly their parents said sure will come. It turned out to be very nice. The adults talked while the kids created little skits. They stayed for a few hours. It was fun. Saturday getting the girls to clean up their room was a huge fight but eventually they did it. Took Rebel to her first soccer game of the season. They lost by a lot but Rebel scored the only two goals. Surprinsgly, as she mostly slowly moved around the field behind everyone else. I think one ball happened to bounce off of her into the goal :) Husband made my requested french onion soup. I put pringles on it - which is odd but amazing. We all love it. Today we did went to Bee's soccer game. Funny how kids get so much better as they age even without practice. I guess its natural motor skill development. Bee scored her teams only goal. Baby boy and rebel ran around Central Park enjoying the sunny weather. Then my husband took all three kids to the girls horseback riding lessons. Then onward to a state park. I relaxed and watched Dear Child. If you like thrillers I recommend it.

Friday Baby boy had his first of four evaluations. It went fine. He acted like himself as he always does. She thought he had autism and mentioned moving him to a special ed school with multiple (20-30) hours of individual therapy every week. A lot to take in. We are surprised. He's never had a yes answer to a single question on the autism screener. His regular OT has said she doesn't see it. We got back the private assessment we paid for and no mention of autism. That being said we are staying open to the idea. We def think he's not neurotypical we just assumed it was SPD with ADHD coming down the line. Both of which can def happen alongside autism. She said he had good eye contact with me but only some with her. She said he is "remarkably bright" and did very well on a pattern tests she gave him on her ipad. I know he didn't even finish the test because he's not the type to sit and answer questions when he can move around. When she threw a small football around with him he played catch with her three times but then started throwing up to himself. She said neurotypical kids would want to continue playing with her. I suspected he stopped playing because he's a great thrower but can't catch someone else's throw because he moves too much. Whereas, when he throws it up he can catch it. But who knows?? I'm also wondering if the diagnosis will help him out. I'm sure it will be easier to get therapy from insurance. In addition, I wonder if people will be nicer to him. Right now if I say sensory issues I assume people just think we didn't teach him to behave properly. But with autism people maybe more forgiving of his sensory issues. Anyway, I didn't question her. I knew that would make me look like a mom who doesn't want her kid to have a diagnosis. I'm happy with any label that will help him get what he needs. I def think he needs more services. I'm not sure 20-30 hours is it but will see once the final report comes in. We still have a speech eval, an OT and a PT eval. Then they have sixty days to give us a report with recommendations and set up an IEP meeting.

I'm glad we have the special ed consultant booked. I can ask the advantage/disadvantage of getting the diagnosis?? Plus, a million other things that I have rolling around my head. I spent a lot of time researching this weekend. I watched two documentaries about kids with autism. None of the kids were anything like baby boy but still interesting movies.

BLMGNF has chapters in Boston, Chicago, Washington DC, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, Lansing, Long Beach, Memphis, Nashville, New York City, Philadelphia, South Bend and in Canada in Toronto, Vancouver, and Waterloo. (If you were impressed by how all those recent riots erupted simultaneously from a grassroots movement--well, maybe it's not so grassroots.)

BLMGNF is a not-for-profit corporation--but it's not tax exempt, so donations are not tax deductible. Except if you go to its website and want to donate, you're transferred to 'ActBlue Charities' which will take your donation, give you a tax deduction, and then distribute the money you gave to BLMGNF. Sort of . . .

What is ActBlue?

The following is taken directly from ActBlue’s web page: “Our platform is available to Democratic candidates and committees, progressive organizations, and nonprofits that share our values for no cost besides a 3.95% processing fee on donations. And we operate as a conduit, which means donations made through ActBlue to a campaign or organization are considered individual donations.”

ActBlue consists of three parts: ActBlue Charities facilitates donations to left-of-center 501(c)(3) nonprofits; Act Blue Civics is its 501(c)(4) affiliate; ActBlue is a 527 Political Action Committee. These three have raised over $5 billion in the sixteen years since it started. If it's 3.95% transaction fee has indeed been applied to all donations, that equates to over $197 million!

ActBlue is thus a Democratic Party front affiliated with BLMGNF. If only it was that simple and stopped there.

Per Business Insider Australia: “ActBlue . . . distributes the money raised to Thousand Currents, which is then granted to Black Lives Matter.”

So, what, you ask, is Thousand Currents (formerly the International Development Exchange)?

Again, per Business insider Australia: “Thousand Currents is a 501(3)(c) non-profit that provides grants to organizations that are . . . developing alternative economic models." (Is anarchy now an alternative economic model?)

"Thousand Currents essentially acts as a quasi-manager for Black Lives Matter: ‘It provides administrative and back office support, including finance, accounting, grants management, insurance, human resources, legal and compliance,’ (Executive Director Solome) Lemma said.” (Finance, insurance, human resources, legal and compliance? It sounds like General Motors!)

What is the significance of the above?

Black Lives Matter is not some fly-by-night fad that is going to loot and destroy and then disappear into the ash heap of history. It's a multi-corporation, big business that is heavily associated with and supports the Democratic Party--and it's here to stay. Arguing whether Black Lives or All Lives Matter is meaningless and distracts from what it's trying to achieve. It's a left-wing political movement that will have a significant impact on Democratic Party programs for the foreseeable future.

Socialism and Communism are intimately linked to these efforts. The U.S. Constitution and especially the Bill of Rights have no place in their plans. Patrisse Cullors,one of Black Lives Matter’s cofounders is widely quoted as saying, “We are trained Marxists.”

The president of Greater New York Black Lives Matter said that if the movement fails to achieve meaningful change during nationwide protests, they will “burn down this system.” Not the peaceful change we celebrate under our Constitution but violent change. For those of us who like our Constitution, this is a challenge thrown directly in our faces.

Mixels 10 Years Tour

Attention, Mixels fans. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the premiere of Mixels!!

To celebrate, the Mixels are gearing up for yet another musical trip on the road!

We'll be traveling all across, playing in as many countries as we can!

Best of all, we'll be starting a month early!

The tour begins Friday January 12th in Morrison, Colorado, and will remain in the US for about a month (see dates below). Specific venues have already been announced, the rest will be unveiled at a later date.

Here's how it'll work: each show will start with about 2-3 opening acts (the unofficial number is because one of those acts will sometimes be too busy to perform on some dates; the other openers will remain throughout the whole tour). While the opening acts will be the same people, the "headliner" as we'll name them will be sorta different for each show.

When we say "sorta different", we mean that there will be a pattern for what headliners will appear.

The gall of that stupid tour manager to make it seem like he has no flaws. You can't see it in his interview, but I sure can. I've seen it before...

I'm not even gonna show his real name, I'm replacing any mention of his name with stuff like "Mr. Meanie" because it describes him perfectly.

There is no way I'm letting that guy drag me across the world, just to strain my vocals for days on end, all while playing in frigid cold temperatures.

And there's no way in h**l that I'm performing at the show in Bloomington (hence why I've crossed it out)! I've heard too many bad stories from that place. What Davis is really trying to say is that he and his friends are excited to be one of the openers for the tour. As always, their band is sort of a tribute act to Oasis.

Three in court charged over €6m 'ghost broker' fraud

Two businessmen and an art teacher have appeared in court charged in connection with €6 million "ghost broker" motor insurance policy fraud.

Forty-five-year-old Alexander Afanaschenko of Bewley Drive in Lucan, 38-year-old Mikhail Yegorov from Charnwood Court in Clonsilla, and 44-year-old Elena Olenik from Berryfield, Finnstown in Lucan, Dublin, were brought before Blanchardstown District Court today.

The charges follow an investigation by the Garda Special Investigations Unit in Roads Policing Division based at Dublin Castle.

The court was told that more than 2,500 motor insurance policies, valued at €6 million were identified as having been fraudulently obtained from ten insurance companies.

Garda George Thurlow told the court it was alleged Mr Afanaschenko was a director of a named company which operated as a "ghost broker" from January 2013 until September 2018.

He faces 210 charges: 91 counts of money laundering, 76 deception charges, one count of fraudulent trading contrary to the Companies Act, as well as being accused of using false documentation.

Fraudulent documents were allegedly used get policies with beneficial premiums.

Originally from Russia, Mr Afanaschenko has lived in Ireland for 18 years and was the holder of Irish, Moldovan and Russian passports. There was no objection to bail with conditions.

The court was told that Mikhail Yegorov is from Ukraine, but identifies as Irish and has lived in Ireland since 2014.

Garda Sergeant John Carey said Mr Yegorov is accused of 21 money laundering offences by possessing the proceeds of criminal conduct, and one charge of fraudulent trading of a ghost broker venture.

It is alleged he worked with Mr Afanaschenko and that he and his co-accused were paid to use false information, including fake licences and no claims bonus certificates, to get genuine insurance policies with reduced premiums.

The court heard €180,000 allegedly went through one bank account over two years.

The two businessmen had bail set with €5,000 lodgements, and their legal aid applications were deferred.

The judge ordered them to sign on regularly at their local Garda stations, to surrender travel documentation, alert gardaí if they will be away from their homes for more than 24 hours, not to leave the jurisdiction, and have no contact with injured parties.

The third accused, self-employed art teacher Elena Olenik who is originally from Latvia, faces 15 money laundering charges and 20 counts of forgery of documents, Garda Thurlow told the court.

Her solicitor Wayne Kenny said she is currently on the Pandemic Unemployment Payment and she was granted legal aid.

The court was told the Director of Public Prosecutions directed trial on indictment in the Circuit Court.

All three have been remanded on bail to appear again at Blanchardstown District Court in July for service of the book of evidence and to be returned for trial.
