for quite some months now, I have not found the same enjoyement in drawing I always have. I have drowned myself over the thought of others; wondering if drawing certain series would give me more recognition.. asking myself if I drew a certain character I'd get more attention. Although these are all series and characters I adore, I found myself drawing as to fulfill a greedy need of feeling seen.
I miss drawing to calm my heart, to search deeper onto what my mind wishes of me. I want to regain my sense of self; to draw for myself.
My account started by posting moomin fanart, and today, I drew moomin fanart for myself. Without the thought of satisfying others, art truly is fun again.
