This Friday at 2pm PST! I will be releasing casts from the junk mold of the Moffmang mask- these casts were made by a friend who is learning about slush casting so they do have imperfections and will be priced less than the preorder versions. The junk mold is taken from the original clay sculpture so it has more air bubble surface “ domes” and is cast in one piece. Also notice that the hard surface eye rings were not part of this version. However, these are useable casts with a little extra work! If you decide to cut the jaw from the top PLEASE go slow, be careful- remember this sculpt took an x-acto thumb tax from me back in October! New year, new alien! First junk cast came out great, spent the weekend cutting it apart into a top piece , jaw piece and back piece then sanding, filling, etc. then more molding happens this week! So I did a dumb and cut my thumb pretty bad on Thursday! Tendons are fine but 5 stitches later I can’t really use my fingers to pull/ grip or extend my arm out too far without getting a jolt of pain in the thumb. I had these files drawn up for the robot dragon doll feet ( posted recently) and was adapting a large version for a costume idea so to aid me a bit while everything heals, I made a helping claw from laser cut Delrin. They can fold out of the way , just held together with screws and locknuts. The Delrin is incredibly strong and is holding up really well to lifting or pulling. It can’t really “ grip” but any functionality I can get back is a big help! Anyway I’m okay, just embarrassed i got so cavalier with a fresh xacto blade…it was done while trimming the first Moffmang cast so now all your blanks will be cursed, sorry… I won’t be able to lift the molds for the Fluxwolf for awhile so there will be a small delay in production, sorry for that. #missmonster #kissmonstermel #cyberpunk2077 #claw
