We’ll cross country skiing on my very old and today not too trusty cross country skis ended after 40minutes to a YouTube search on how to fix laminate on skis and a fun solstice project so I’ll have my trusty old cross country skis back... I would get new ones but they were my dad’s and he died 8 years ago so I don’t want new ones. I want his as I feel his spirit while making the course he used to make and ski on.. Some things with no value to some have lots of value to others... Craig City and Loudy-Simpson Parks are often over-looked by tourists visiting Moffat County! These are not just parks they are home to many wood carvings that were carved during the annual "Whittle The Wood". When visiting Moffat County, you MUST take a stroll through these parks and see the amazing carvings displayed throughout the park!

Craig hosts "Do it downtown" every Thursday during the summer. Locals enjoy showing off their talents to the community! This should definitely become one of the "must dos" when you visit Moffat County! 

Freeman Reservoir, already mentioned once in this blog, is a great insider's travel. Many locals know hidden places to go hiking, 4-wheeling, or just sight see on Black Mountain.

Hiking is another hobby of many people in our county!

Floating down the river is also an amazing outdoor activity to participate in! With our incredible rivers many people in Moffat County float the river on the weekend

Riding horses and rodeos are an incredible draw for the community!!

Our county is very into sports!! No matter what the weather is like there will be a fan cheering on a Moffat County team!!
