#Repost @anthonyjamesrummel --- #funfactsfriday Most fans of @thethreestooges know that after Curly Howard suffered his career-ending stroke in 1946 and his older brother Shemp replaced him, he made a brief cameo in "Hold That Lion!" as a snoring train passenger the following year. The short ended up being the only time all three Howard brothers appeared on screen together. But what many fans probably don't know is that two years later, Curly was actually meant to have a second cameo in "Malice in the Palace" (one of their four shorts in the public domain) as an angry, mustachioed chef. Unfortunately, during filming it was sadly clear that Curly was in no condition to perform and the footage of him was cut from the final product. The only existing proof of Curly's cameo is a lobby card photo of him angrily pulling Larry's hair and waving a meat cleaver. By this time, he had noticeably lost a considerable amount of weight and his hair had grown back. #the3stooges #thethreestooges #moelarrycurly #moelarryshemp #moelarrycurlyshemp #howardbrothers #brothers #actor #actors #comedians #comedy #slapstick #trivia #funfacts #hollywood #oldhollywood #history #filmhistory #curlyhoward #moehoward #larryfine #shemphoward #holdthatlion #maliceinthepalace #woowoowoo #nyuknyuk (at El Cajón del Sabino-El Cajón) https://www.instagram.com/p/B98fJLzlKxq6ADWbuWbUCQXv8EWiIR6j-sYhBg0/?igshid=1fkdinqmmzsna
