Hail to the King
For @konigsblog as a thank you for the follow and I guess to what expect of my writings.
tw: this is lewd, delusional König, warhammer 40k shenanigans, König is a Black Templar (see The 40k au for why)((I might try to write another with him as a Blood Angel)) I am shit at trigger warnings
It wasn't his fault that they hadn't kept a better leash on their Schätze. In his defense the chapter serf should have known better and the mortal... well she shouldn't have looked so helpless and cute. Normally he would be thrilled and an honor to join a kill team to slay xenos but this was suppose to be a punishment on learning to not touch what wasn't his.
He walked down the hall of the alien craft chopping down any xeno unfortunate to walk into his path. Most of the Inquisition agents he was around were men... it seems the Inquisitor had been warned about his pecularities.
"You're not suppose to be here." His head snapped over to the voice of a little Maus. He could feel his mouth salivate as the space suit hugged her form in a pleasing way. Oh sure to many baselines she was hardly different from the form of a man but he could see... as well as the custom suit with the symbol of the Inquisition on her front. But the way she was leaning over a console with the curve of her ass just on display.
"Auch, Where am I suppose to be then Maus?" He said annoyed trying to not play his hand but lucky for him his suit hid his eyes from the way they lustfully ran over her body. Though he looked at the bodies of the Xenos littering the room. "You being a little Maus and just coming in after all the fighting is done?"
He could see the pout on the other side of her visor, "Rude. No I cleared the room myself. Oh was a shame that it had to come to blows but then again..." He stopped listening as soon as her hips started to sway with what she was saying. He wanted to dig his fingers into her flesh as his hips moved against hers only hearing her pretty little moans. "Hey big guy!" She finally shouted over the vox.
König resumed paying attention to his Maus. "Ja?"
"Thanks for paying attention...," The sarcasm was obvious in her voice, "anyway. Like I said earlier you're not suppose to be near me and you're suppose to be on the other side of the ship dealing with Xenos."
"The fighting led me this way and given the amount of dead at your feet Maus. You're not exactly alone. It would be a shame if your Inquisitor lost your expertise." He purred out the last few words just buttering her up a little.
"Well... you're not wrong..." He could easily tell she was preening under his complements, "But the Inquisitor said you weren't allowed near female agents or crew members. So be off with you... shoo." She tried her best to wave him off as she turned back to the console.
Konig held a growl in his throat he'd has to teach his Maus manners later. But he was on duty and purging Xenos in the name of the Emperor came first and pleasure later. He started back down the hall before he heard mechanics and her soft little 'Oh hi.' He rushed back as soon as the rapid burst fire rang out and abhorrent xenos cries as he rushed back into the room.
She was in the middle of wrestling one as it was trying to grab her rifle out of her hands. He snarled out as he was upon them in a moment as thick xeno blood painted the walls and her suit as his chainsword ripped through the xeno flesh. Her head turned at the sound of a chime and she grabbed the assumingly heretical technology... then again he wasn't the biggest fan of the Mechanicus and knew Inquisitors tended to flirt with the Dark Mechanicus or heretecks to get better tech.
"Well I'm done here. Thanks again big guy!" She chirped and patted his chest before he grabbed her and pulled her to his chest.
"Nein! You'll just find trouble klein Maus. Und how will you get out of trouble all by yourself hmm?" He cocked his head to the side and watched her fold her arms over her chest. He was giddy as she was just the right amount of willful yet submissive. He knew what was for her own good... he had experience and age. She sighed as she settled into his arm holding her without much of a fight.
König knew he could get his hands on a pretty little Maus during his time here.

I know Call of Duty Mobile comics are not canon (at least to my knowledge), but it's nice to see some crumbs of Makarov contents. Most importantly, there's a hint of "Makarov being a girl dad" moments in the comic that had me screaming.
We get to see more of his personality, though some of it were a bit OOC to me. But most of the time, they got him right. More russian quips and all, something we don't see much back in MW2 and MW3.
His sassy bitchy side. We got glimpse of that back in MW2 and MW3 but in the comics? Deadass he's such a sassy little shit, that at some point I couldn't even be mad at him 😂 .
We also get to see him sort of, kind of, but not really, have this odd sometimes wholesome, mostly questionable, father-daughter vibe with Sophia Couteau. This bit was probably that caught me off guard the most, mostly because we know him as this cold heartless bastard that he is. It was mentioned that he took her in as his protege after her father died. She became part of his crew along with another character Wraith. Funny enough, Sophia even slightly defend Makarov against Dame (her mother) here.
Tumblr media
"I know how much you long for big strong parental figure to make things right for you"
"Big Daddy Vladimir" (The way I cackled when I read this line agagahhaha we get it Dame ✋️✋️✋️Makarov is big and strong lmaooo she so real for that)
"As much my mother as Makarov is" (Confirmed. Makarov is mother 💅🏻)
Anyway, back on the topic.
Interestingly, Sophia's father, Edouard "Templar", once tried to kill Makarov. Sooo, you can see why I label Sophia and Makarov father daughter vibe as "questionable", since well... it's Makarov we're talking here. Trusting Makarov is a deathwish.
So, what was Makarov's intention of taking Sophia, whose father tried to kill him, under his care?
Personally, I believe there's a thin line between genuine care and using her for his own cause. I do believe he initially took her in to use her for his personal agenda. But overtime, he grew to care for her a little bit. Maybe he sees himself in her, reminding him back in his days when Zakhaev took him in (different circumstances but still there's similarities). But of course, I don't believe his growing care for her diminished any thought of using her as a pawn for him to use. But damn it he did had me thinking that he genuinely, truly cared for her.
Another thought I had is that, he might took her in because he sees it as some kind of twisted way to get back at Edouard? Maybe he thought; "You tried to kill me? Imma steal yo kid and be a better dad than you then lmfaoo *runs away with adoption paper in his hand*"
But not really though. Considering at the time, Edouard was considered dead (turns out to be alive sometimes later though agaaag this comic really kills me because anyone can never be truly dead). So, him doing this in the name of "getting revenge" on Edouard, is pointless. Unless of course, he's always known Edouard is alive the whole time.
Yeah all in all, it was really a treat to see Makarov being nice and affectionate with someone. A treat and kinda astounding sight too. Especially since we know what he's like in the game agagaa. Like yeah we know who he is and what he is, we know if push comes to shove, he will probably betray Sophia in a heartbeat. But still, it's heartwarming to see their interaction.

Tumblr media
Makarov Parenting 101: Be the first to cover your kid's back. Also, keep your kid's close.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Makarov Parenting 101: Teach your kid your language
(FYI Sophia is French. And yeah I know that it doesn't really mean anything considering that a) it's a pretty simple and common phrase so maybe she doesn't really know russian and only knows a couple of phrase or b) maybe she learned the language herself. But still, it's fun to consider that maybe she pick it up from Makarov. Bet she learned a few curse words as well 🤣 Mak disapproves at first but overtime he finds it amusing and snickers whenever she said it)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Makarov Parenting 101: Gives reassurance to your kid (even if you have to lie)
Yeah I'm on the fence on this one, because as much as I want to believe it, part of me have a feeling that he had that family killed. Also,
"I'm not a monster" The audacity of his ass to say this line lol 💀
Bonus:
Tumblr media
It's a funny sight to see him helping someone up. Because we know what happened the last time he did that (rip allen you should've never take that hand). Also, he didn't have to help her up. She's more than capable to do that. Not just Wraith but Sophia too. But here he is giving his hand to them. Notice that Sophia was ahead of them, so I'm gonna assume Mak went up first then wait out to help Sophia up the roof then help Wraith. "He really said "I might be a mass murdering psychopathic terrorist but at least I'm a gentleman 👍"
Also another Makarov Parenting 101: Always help your kid up first in high altitude situation.
So yeah. In the comic, they seem to tone him down a little. Shows his light and sometimes dark, humorous side (a nice change though I'm not complaining). A little flirty too ("never darling" "Freya my dear").

Hello my dearest writer. I just wanted you to know I am amused by your creative brain.
So I wanted to ask a senario that ezio (modern au) was kidnapped in his childhood by abstergo and became a templar instead of an assassin. And then desmond, altair and connor(in one team) wanted to bring him back because he is the prophet and an old friend from childhood.
(Sorry for my english friend)
I’m glad you’re enjoying the ideas I’m throwing out in the wilds but, let’s be clear, these ideas come into existence because of wonderful asks and submissions like yours so you guys are the ones feeding my plot bunny who… isn’t even my pet, they just appear in my backyard one day.
.
Okay, so for the three to count Ezio as their old friend from childhood, that would mean they would have met Ezio a few times. In this case, I propose we give Ezio a very similar childhood to his canon self where he was raised without knowing of his Assassin lineage.
Altaïr, Ratonhnhaké:ton and Desmond are of similar ages (although I kinda like the idea that Altaïr is the oldest by 1 year, Desmond and Ezio are the same age and Ratonhnhaké:ton is a year or two younger) but they were raised as Assassin. They know the whole Assassin vs Templar thing, but they’ve been told to not tell Ezio anything. As far as Ezio knows, he’s just visiting an out-of-the-way place where he can play with three boys near his age (we can add that Federico is there for a monthly sparring or so with the older kids and Ezio thought it was just like a club competition or something?)
Anyway, my initial thought was Ezio getting kidnapped during the Great Purge but, if he’s the same age as Desmond, he’d be 13 by then, and I think we should push for Ezio’s ‘indoctrination’ at an earlier age.
So let’s use Haytham’s age of 10 instead and Abstergo learned of the Auditores’ Assassin lineage by luck (and tenacity). They abduct Ezio while he was in school then made the poor child believe that his family left him when they showed him an empty house as the rest of the Auditores have fled to keep their other children safe. There were actually Assassins stationed near the house, just in case Ezio comes back or if Abstergo comes knocking, but they were killed by Abstergo before bringing Ezio there.
So, in this case, Ezio grows up believing he was abandoned. He would miss his family but also, either believes he hates or pretends to hate them for abandoning him. He would be indoctrinated into thinking the Assassins are killer deluding themselves into thinking they’re saving the world without understanding how their actions have only brought misery and destruction to the world.
Unorganized Notes:
Desmond doesn’t run away because Altaïr and Ratonhnhaké:ton are on the Farm as well. (Although, Altaïr did say that if Desmond was running away, he was running away with him, and they’ll drag Ratonhnhaké:ton with them who just goes “you don’t need to drag me, I’ll come with you guys.”)
Ezio’s kidnapping is the cold water that made Desmond realize that Templars are real, and the three actually spent years believing that Ezio is already dead.
Umar is alive in this one (yey!). He’s Bill’s best friend and is one of the best Assassin in the fields, maybe there are even talks of him becoming the mentor’s successor. Because he’s usually being sent for dangerous missions, he left Altaïr on the Farm and Altaïr is Desmond’s childhood friend who may or may not be Bill’s ward. Of course, when the Great Purge hits, Umar dies (aww) for maximum angst!
Ratonhnhaké:ton’s mother is an Assassin, but he’s staying with his grandfather on the Farm as his mother goes to the field a lot. Maybe partner Kaniehtí:io with Desmond’s mother for field missions to give us a reason why Ratonhnhaké:ton and Desmond got close in the first place? Or, if you’d like, Edward is the cousin of William Miles’ grandfather, so they’re ‘distantly’ related. (Haytham either being an Assassin, dead ala Tyranny of King Washington, or still a goddamn Templar in this one is up to you)
They learn Ezio is alive because he starts appearing on cameras and public after he officially became a Templar. He was raised by Vidic and goes by Ezio Vidic instead.
Ezio and Cross don’t really see eye to eye. Ezio thinks Cross is too reckless and should get more medical aid and tests before being cleared for duty. Cross thinks Ezio acts too ‘nice’ and Cross is the only one who calls Ezio out and tells him straight that he knows Ezio still haven’t let go of his past.
Berg joins the Order for the same reason as the canon but, instead of being Cross’ equal/sorta-lackey, he becomes Ezio’s second-in-command. He is secretly ordered to kill Ezio if Ezio ever shows any hints of returning to the Assassins.
I think in this scenario, we should not add the Animus because that would complicate things too much (also, Ezio would be a descendant of Renaissance!Ezio and putting him into the Animus would mean that Abstergo would have access to the Apple sooner)
In this scenario, let’s make the ‘Prophet’ a title which means that Ezio alone can open a specific door that houses the most powerful Isu artifact (your call if that’s true, or it’s actually the final door to the Grand Temple, and we’re gonna kill Desmond again XD).
Abstergo doesn’t have the location, but they have the Prophet. The Assassins have the location but not the Prophet, so both sides want Ezio.
His three childhood friends just want their friend back.
(What about the other Auditores? I think it would really push the plot if Ezio actually shoots Federico, whether he doesn’t know it was Federico or he deliberately did it to show where his loyalty stands, Federico survives because Ezio miss his vital organs. Whether on purpose or not, they can’t be sure)
.
I have to admit, this scenario reminds me of an idea I have (which I was thinking of writing for Halloween… if time permits… probably won’t, idk) of a Canon Divergence AU where Ezio was raised by Berg and joined the Order and became part of Sigma Team. He knows he’s adopted, but he doesn’t know who his birth parents are, all he knows is that Berg adopted him when he was born.
Anyway, Sigma Team gets called in for an urgent mission because a secret Abstergo facility in Fairport, New York (which was pretending to be just a plastic surgery clinic) lost all communication and the entire place went dark.
The last camera footage they saw was two men entering the facility, they wore hoods but facial recognition from cameras providing other angles confirmed they are two known terrorists code-named ‘Altair’ and ‘Connor’.
And Abstergo knows what they’re there to get…
In the deepest part of the facility sleeps ‘Sample 17’.
(So the main idea is: Ezio is trying to take down Altaïr and Ratonhnhaké:ton while the two are trying to find ‘Sample 17’. And… uuhhh… it’s meant to be of more on the body horror side… kinda like… Dead Space type of body horror because ‘things are not as they seem’)
.
(Your English is fine, dear friend :))

maybe this is weird (and I do promise I’m dropping the rest of the lore in a hour or so) but
in the rewrite, i always write Altaïr as seeing Desmond as:
Altaïr: this is my little brother, my son, my best friend, and annoying twin that makes all the reckless mistakes i already learned from. i love my boy, but damn if he doesn’t be doing some wild shit
wereas Desmond is like
Desmond: i love Altaïr! he’s my brother, my best friend, one of the few people who I’d happily consider my father, my face twin, and (did I already mention?) best friend! he makes a lot of mistakes, and we disagree about lots of stuff, but i’m so happy he’s in my life
Altaïr in permutation 17: this sucks. Des isn’t even here right now (hist time) and he can’t even hear me when I’m trying to talk to him (in modern time)
Desmond in permutation 17: this sucks. Altaïr isn’t even here right now (modern time) and I’m so fucking lonely !! !! !! now I’ve gotta die to turn on the eye and then what?! no one is coming back for me!! I don’t even know where Alex is, I’m just praying that I’ll survive after dying to get Elijah and keep him safe, but this shit sucks!
#y'know the funny thing is#i spent almost an entire month and a half#rewriting assassin's creed--just all of it--with the intention that desmond stays alive and eventually gets to live happily#which is still the main endgoal of the protocreed au#but like??? every character in AC that would've treated Desmond well was DEAD and all of his living allies would most definitely use him#even if they're his family or friends he would never be put firts#*first#i was genuinely thinking about giving up on the rewrite simply bc in canon there is no character that was alive and willing to treat Desmond#like he's someone that matters#and i knew that Desmond time traveling was a thing but I still wanted the modern day era to still have weight#and the way ubisoft wrote their ac games is that: there is no hope. not really#no matter what you or other people do good will never win#and i was truly unsure how to get around that depressing narrative#but then!!!#suddenly protocreed!#i don't know what possessed me to plug that disc back in but--#i played that game and i was like: yeah he's dating desmond#like-I don't even know how to say this#but Desmond and Alex OTP for the win and i don't have any in universe explanation for it (on Desmond's side) simply bc#both the assassins and the templars don't let the man socialize they just plug him in the animus and expect him to be seen and not heard#like the Manhattan connection was really easy to make since Desmond was kidnapped there and then returns in AC3 to make a lovely full cirlce#but all I could think was Alex definitely loves this man#they make each other better AND worse#anyways#this is a lot of tags talk about Alex and Desmond#when Alex isn't even in the main post but#Altaïr Claudia and Ezio are Desmond's closest family#and he's very close to Connor and Aveline but he's taken for such a fucking ride#when the grandparents that took him in when he was truly in a bad way#ends up being the same people who are his ancestors and not? dead?

"how did this come about. how did your brain put this together"
it's the diametric opposition & dramatic irony of 2 sophisticated gentlemen on entirely different sides of the law getting along phenomenally without knowing anything about each others' tragic/marred history with their families
it's connor & khemu sharing the same birth year. khemu would be connor's age if he were alive today. bayek got 7 years with his son before he lost him; meanwhile, haytham's son is not only alive & well, but he's also been walking around without a father for all of his 17 years of life. sure will be awkward when the truth all comes out!
there's so much more, but i have to stop myself somewhere. there's this, too. what's up with this, ubisoft?! you're only enabling me

anyway, modern!meredith is a hot mess.
She works as a prison warden at a place nicknamed ‘The Gallows’, known for a series of hangings before death penalty was modernized to lethal injection.
She lost her parents and sister at age 5 to a serial murderer and survived because of their neighbor, Officer Wentworth Kell, who was first to arrive on the scene.
He adopted her because she had no other family, and she enlisted in the military, serving one tour of duty before returning home for good as Wentworth’s health began to decline with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. he passed away when Meredith was in her mid-twenties, and she inherited his estate as he had no other family.
She eventually followed in his footsteps to become a police officer, and after a few years on the force, took to the administrative duties of being a prison warden at the state’s largest max security penitentiary.
Given her history, she believes in strict capital punishment, and given her connections to law enforcement, she has helped influence and advocate for the strongest judicial rulings (she is often considered to be in the pocket of a few residing judges [like Elthina]).
Cullen is her Deputy-Governor, 2nd in Command of the prison. They first met when she was on the police force and he was a rookie cop, but was later traumatized in the line of duty, so she offered him the ‘desk’ job at the prison instead. She sees him more like a ‘work son’ than she does in her canon verse, and has had him over for dinner now and again.
The Stannard family killer was released after serving 30 years on ‘good behavior’ and it is a constant source of fear for Meredith, anticipating that he’d come back to finish the job.
She follows a small sect of an old ancient matriarchal religion referred to as Andrastianism, meeting in a private home once a week for services. She also brought Cullen along and got him into it.
She is out as a lesbian in that she has had long term female partners and people who know her know this about her, but she is more secretive about her dating habits, and prisoners know next to nothing about her as she does not engage with them unless necessary. She just figured out how to use tinder at age 45.
She  lives alone in the countryside, has few friends, and has a chronic addiction to cocaine;
which, when binged, can “lead to increased irritability, restlessness, panic attacks, paranoia, and even a full-blown psychosis, in which the individual loses touch with reality and experiences auditory hallucinations. With increasing doses or higher frequency of use, the risk of adverse psychological or physiological effects increases.”

AC × COD
There could be a stakeout mission where the 141 stay in Masyaf, Monteriggioni or Davenport Homestead. And Desmond is visibly sad and nostalgic noticed by the team.
The Assassin's Creed x Call Of Duty Modern Warfare crossover (idea + 2 drabbles, short fic 1, short fic 2, another drabble, an overview of the villains' connection to the Assassins and Templars, Desmond's journal and loadout)
Okay, I might not be able to add this into the main fic (if CoD does win the sorta-poll) but this idea came to me when I read this ask:
In the OG MW trilogy, 141 was disavowed because they killed Shepherd (who, at that point, was not known to be a traitor) so this could happen when 141 gets disavowed for one reason or another.
Instead of something more ‘lighthearted’ (as lighthearted it could be considering they are a spec ops unit anyway), you’ll have the 141 be in a heightened, one might even say paranoid, state and they’ll probably think that Desmond knew about these weird safehouse because of his CIA background.
But they would see it. The longing and grief in Desmond’s eyes that he tries to hide.
And, among the 141, I see Price the most being the one to sit with him and ask who he lost here.
And he would answer…
“My brother.”
As for the locations:
I actually always HC that Masyaf is under Abstergo in Modern Day because that would be such a dick move from Abstergo that would give us drama, hahaha.
Also, I wouldn’t advise Desmond to go to Masyaf or Monteriggioni as Masyaf is a well known Assassin headquarters and Monteriggioni (to be more specific Villa Auditore) would have already been noted by Abstergo as a possible hideout for Desmond because of Lucy.
Although, Abstergo did release games based on Ratonhnhaké:ton’s life so they know about Davenport Homestead as well.
We can circumvent this by making it so that Abstergo never released any of the games because Desmond survived so they couldn’t get Sample 17. Of course, this only means that Davenport Homestead is safe.
Unless…
You count Alamut? Alamut is well known as a headquarters, yes, but Abstergo should only have heard of the temple underneath Alamut, not how to get there, otherwise they would already have the other memory seals Altaïr left there and made a profit using them.
Unfortunately, this still makes any of Ezio’s headquarters a no-go as Lucy would have given them details of the one in Tiber Island as well. The ones in Istanbul/Constantinople would be risky as the Great Purge did hit the Ottoman Brotherhood but it might work if the dens themselves still exist? (Although, they’re probably occupied by something else already).
So, depending on where 141 are at the moment. The only real safe ones are Davenport Homestead or Alamut.
Risky but possible: Constantinople Assassin dens.
Really, really out there suggestion: The Assassins tombs in Italy and the hiding places of the Masyaf keys in Constantinople?
Reaaalllyy super out there suggestion: “Hey, dad. Can you call Uncle Gavin and ask him to pick me and my friends up?”
