It was such a suffocating feeling watching people die in front of you, especially when the violent images of your old squad being torn apart because of you are flashing through your mind. To watch it happen again, despite it not being her squad directly, it caused those memories to flash before her eyes. Stumbling back as they finished their fight, Mitsuba dropped to the ground as her knees gave out beneath her.

There was a ringing in her ears as her vision blurred, she hadn't realized just how rapidly she was breathing until she felt hands firmly grasping her shoulders. Gasping in a harsh breath, the blonde focused her gaze to meet Yuu's. It took her a moment to realize what he was saying to her, but once she'd realized everyone in their small squad-- their family-- was relatively unharmed, she finally started to take in a few deep breaths.

"I--" she paused before she sucked in a deep breath, shakily pushing it out before lifting her violet gaze to meet his of emerald once more, "I'm sorry, I-I don't know what came over me. We should keep going-- don't let me stop our progress."

₊˚⊹꒷ yūichirō hyakuya

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Yūichirō is nice enough, arguably the most welcoming as he ushers you into their circle, their 'family's as he calls it. He always insisted you call him Yū from the second you met. It's kind of nice.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 He's very reassuring, though he's a tad hard-headed and quick to rush into things. He means well enough, and you know that at the first sign of danger he'd save your life in a heartbeat.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 He has this way of managing to get you in every conversation, making sure you feel included and he asks your opinion on things and will ask you to back him up. You can shake your head and laugh about it, but it's always endearing.

₊˚⊹꒷ shinoa hīragi

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Shinoa is easily one of your favourite source's of entertainment between her subtle sass and sarcastic quips, she manages to brighten the mood even in the midst of war, but she's always on her toes in combat. She has your back, you know she does, and you trust her with your life.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 She might need to work on boundaries though, because sometimes she oversteps and takes things a little too far. The one thing she won't overstep on is her family, you've asked her and she doesn't have much to say, she danced around the room a little and told you she was 'basically a princess'. You sensed she didn't really want to talk about it.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Shinoa is somewhat teasing toward you but your can usually tell it's all in good fun no matter what she says, but you've also learned never to tease her back about her height.

₊˚⊹꒷ yoichi saotome

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Yoichi is one of the kindest people you know, though he comes off as being a little soft sometimes. He tries his hardest and you can respect that.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 He's always checking up on you, more so when you first came to the squad, always wanting to know how you were doing and if you were ok. It was nice to feel like someone really cared about you in this new squad.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 He's always quick to back Yū's family ideals and think of it the same way, and in enough time you realised that Also meant there were lengths he would go to for you that went beyond the others. At first it was a bit terrifying, but it became comforting once you really thought about it.

₊˚⊹꒷ mitsuba sangū

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Mitsuba's way of caring takes a bit to get used to, keeping you in line and watching your every move like a hawk to catch you out. With enough convincing you accept that this is her way if protecting you from yourself.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 She does warm up, and you manage to become good friends. Following the rules is her way of keeping you safe, there's a protocol for everything and wanting you to follow that to the letter is just an attempt to keep you alive. Doing your best to please her and follow your orders is your way of giving back.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 She has her moments, a certain kind of vulnerability that she lets show. All of her insecurities and her dreams are right there laid out before you, even if those aren't things she thinks she can achieve, it feels nice to have someone trust you to hear their secrets.

₊˚⊹꒷ shiho kimizuki

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Kimizuki is easily one of the sternest people you know, but his way of logic does not outweigh the care he has for each and every member of the squad. That now includes you.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 It initially surprised you he was something of a homebody, or at least would've been with how well he can cook an clean up after himself, that's what you concluded at least. Sometimes he cooks for you, assuming you're not out in the field and everyone else is struggling not to burn the food. Sometimes he tries to teach you, and some attempts are more successful than others.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 His ability to put up with Yū as he would see it is admirable, and he also encourages you not to listen to the things he says. You're no exception either as he tends to scold you. A thing of endearment? You're not sure yet. You'll figure it out eventually.

₊˚⊹꒷ makoto narumi

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Narumi is somehow stricter than Mitsuba and can rival Kimizuki, though that's not to say they're the same. You felt horrible to learn about his squad, but unlike Mitsuba he didn't allow himself to be vulnerable toward you.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 But he does look out for you in all aspects, as with everyone in the squad. He does things you may not necessarily like, but he doesn't those things to keep you safe. They're things other people don't want to do, but he'll do them for the sake of the others.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 You're not sure what he was like before the deaths of his friends but now he seems more careful than ever. He's someone you can easily feel safe around. He's tight on regulations and has told you to your face that if you can't follow orders he can't say the same for you. It's a good motivator.

In the anime/manga series Seraph of the End, Mitsuba (voiced in Japanese by Yuka Iguchi and in English by Alex Moore) is one of the secondary main characters. She is a strong fighter, short-tempered, and a member of Shinoa’s Moon Demon squad. An extremely large-sized green and black battle axe is her weapon. Mitsuba has golden blonde hair tied in two ponytails and purple eyes. Her uniform is similar to others, she wears a matching women’s style with Shiona. It also includes a black jacket with a red bow at the collar, gold boots, and a pair of white wrist-length gloves. Collect all the accessories of the Mitsuba Sangū costume from Owari No Seraph/Seraph of the End.

Mika is not a fucking yandere or an obsessed creep

What people don't understand is that while Yuu had friends who cared and loved him and helped him to go through his trauma issues, Mika was completely alone.

He was left alone struggling with his pain, his trauma and his hate for himself for 4 years.

Don't blame him for is personality change or for his love for Yuu.

He went through a lot and Yuu is literally the only reason he kept going on. He is not a yandere, he just wants to protect what's left of his family.

Please ignore this post I am just creating a checklist for when Mitsuba will get screentime so I will know how many of the facts (including silly ones) I brought up these past years about her have been addressed:

Both fanbooks and the Bloody Blades game saying Mitsuba’s axe’s ability is to manifest an infinite number of demons (yet we only see her manifesting three at most so is she perhaps not using her cursed gear to its full potential or is it just Yamamoto not wanting to draw all that?)

Fanbook 8.5 stating there is no difference in strength between the demons of first to third rank (so Mitsuba’s demon shouldn’t be weaker than those of her squadmates)

What the hell was that time when some of her arm was sliced by Crowley, there was blood but then the next chapter she was surprised that there was no injury?

The similar names of Mitsuba and Aoi’s demons (note: Tenjiryū “Heaven-shaped dragon” and Chijiryū “Earth-shaped dragon”; are their demons perhaps related too? siblings? twins? halves of each other?)

Why is Mitsuba’s demon named after the sky and yet her manifestations come from the earth she cracks?

Why is Aoi’s cursed gear golden?

Why does the hilt of Aoi’s cursed gear have three-leaf clover symbol and drawings? (note: Mitsuba’s name means “three-leaf clover”)

Mitsuba backstory flashback chapter when?

The Sangū clan curse making all of its members blonde (note: the LN mentioned both hair colour-related curses of the Jūjō and Sangū clans but only the Jūjō’s backstory was explained)

Parents (were they good parents and why the hell did they appear out of nowhere?; judging by Mitsuba’s reaction to seeing them I feel like they were good…at least to her)

Did their parents name their daughters that way for a reason or was it just them being silly? (note: “Aoi” refers to a two-leafed plant while “Mitsuba” refers to a three-leafed plant yet they are the first and second daughters; is there perhaps another one?)

Why Mitsuba has such a bad relationship with Aoi?

Her feelings for Aoi

Did Kagami intentionally make Aoi start serve Kureto the same year Mitsuba was born? (Aoi was 7 at the time, the same age gap she has with Mitsuba, suggesting that Aoi was never around since Mitsu was born)

When did Mitsu join the army and how long did it take her to join the Vampire Extermination Unit?

Why did she join the army? (nepotism? forced to? had a desire to prove herself?; note: in one of the CD dramas Shinoa had to ask that question to her squad and Mitsuba was the only one who didn’t answer because she was too uncomfortable to say it)

How was her life with her previous squad?

How was her life after her squad died?

Why is she not loyal to the Hīragis?

When and under what circumstances did she meet Shinoa?

The weird stares she gives at Shinoa when she is with Yuu (I am placing my bets she is not jealous of Shinoa and rather she is just intrigued by her sudden emotional moments when she is with Yuu because the Shinoa she knows has always kept everyone at a distance…maybe she was also hurt that Shinoa appreciated more Yuu worrying for her in chapter 99 than Mitsuba worrying about her since Shinoa kinda half ignored her in chapter 86…also read a theory saying she fears Yuu and Shinoa getting together and leaving her behind just like Aoi did with Kureto)

Her feelings for Yuu (please don’t let her have an ‘officially confirmed’ crush on him)

Her feelings for Shinoa (note: in the fanbook 108 she said she worries for Shinoa the most and that Yuu comes second; it would be so good if she tried to get knock some sense into Shinoa for um…well, you know)

Her inferiority complex towards her squad

How she felt when abandoning the army

How she felt after failing to prevent Yuu from getting kidnapped

How she felt after being left alone when the war broke out

How she felt when she did was the only one of her squad to not contribute in the defeat of Shikama Dōji

the sacrifice

you die saving the thing you love. maybe it is family, friends, perhaps even a cause. they will carry your face with them for the rest of their lives, and every milestone they pass will make them think of you. it does not matter because you won't be there to experience it with them. years down the line, they will meet people who do not even know the weight of your name upon their skin. this is what your selflessness gets you in the end.

you die, hand outstretched towards the sky, as if to say 'I'm not done yet.' there are so many things you still have to do, so many goals you still have to reach. you've spent your entire life working towards them, and doing nothing else, only to die before knowing what accomplishment feels like. they'll say your death was a pity, that you had such a bright future ahead of you. it is one you'll never get to see.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Trying to rank up in ranked matches so he can play league but he is struggling (¯―¯٥) probably at C+
