Like all the Akuma before him, Rictus Grin had a mission that needed attending. And he knew the consequences if he failed; his powers would be gone. Again. People would remind him of his failures. Again. And Cheshire Cat, Rictus Grin’s true form, would be abandoned, scorned, and tossed aside. Again.

We can’t have that again. Now can I-?

He exhaled a raspy sigh as his head rolled to the side. With every person that he looked at, he could see their faces contort with whatever fucking thing they feared. Desperately he wished they were afraid of him; but he knew they were afraid of his projections and horrendous sight. It wasn’t the same. But it worked.

Rictus Grin’s claws scraped against the cement as he stalked down the streets. “I’m.... looking for a specific little girl...” His raspy voice filled the air. Ladybug or not, he knew who he was looking for. “Come out... come out... wherever you are...”

If there was anything that Cheshire hated more, it was the uncertainty that he was facing with himself. How could a fraction of time just disappear from his mind? And why did his head hurt whenever his thoughts tried to dwell on the missing history? Doctors in the castle said it was a form of amnesia, but they weren’t certain the cause for it. Part of the cat believed there was more to everything he had forgotten then anyone could figure out.

Maybe that was way he sought out a good time at the Caterpillar’s Hookah Lounge. He had nothing to fear about her crazy voodoo magic or misty smoke; his life had already reached a pinnacle moment of fuckery. There was nothing that she could muster for him here. But others wouldn’t be so lucky if something went wrong.

“Careful now,” he said. Cheshire lifted his attention off his drink as he glanced at the girl in front of him. “A small thing like yourself will lose yourself in the Caterpillar’s ways before you’re even a fraction of the way to discovering yourself.”

Upon spotting the raven haired teen, Izuku smiled faintly as he saw Marinette, he did have to thank her for the gift she gave him for Valentine’s Day, But knowing the green haired male, he couldn’t find the words to say to begin, it would always end up in rambling. 

Rambling that normally made the other person stare at him and more than likely wonder if he’s okay. 

“Hey Marinette!” Izuku said as he jogged up to her, a smile on his face as he held his hand up to greet her. 

“Thank you for the gift you left me, I really do appreciate it. You didn’t need to!” He said quickly, was he beginning to ramble?

You Lose

    Finding Ladybug had been easier thanks to the ruckus from a different akumatized person but after his confrontation with Leorio, he had been tired, physically and mentally. His fight with the Miraculous holder had harder for him than he had expected, but that had been him being cocky.

    Luckily she had never gotten the upper hand and he hardly gave her the chance to summon her lucky item. He just had to keep her busy and slowly make his way closer to her until finally, she had been in reach and he tore her miraculous right out of her ears. He had been in shock for a moment, freezing where he landed and slowly opening the palm of his hands to glance at them, revealing indeed, the ladybugs miraculous. A glance back only further proved he had gotten what Hawkmoth wanted as he stared back at a teenage girl holding her ears in disbelief and pain.

    “I did it......I did it!!” He screamed in glee as he laughed. 

For Killua? A book on advanced yo yo tricks and a package of little yo yo shaped cookies!!

His eyes grew at the sweets and oh nice! He opened the yo-yo book and saw a few tricks he did not know.

“Ok, I will master these by tomorrow and eat all the cookies too. Thank you!”

Squalo looked in confusion at the girl who had suddenly approached him with an offer to help him find a new style that would better suit him. He had only walked into the shop to buy more clothes since he obviously had only shown up in what he had on and needed new clothes, he hadn’t been in need of any help from anyone since he was a grown ass man.

The Varia captain had to bit his tongue so he wouldn’t yell profanities at the girl for bothering him. She was obviously just doing her job and he had to respect that. But it still didn’t stop him from being a bit snarky as he replied to her with a slight glare.

“Voii!! Do I look like I need help from you girl?”

    Work had put Haruhi in charge of attracting customers to the shop that day and for the first time in awhile, Haruhi was happy she had been part of the host club and had so many weirdos she called friends that showed her the ropes of being a good host. She was also happy she had shown up in a more gender neutral outfit, this would make using her host charms to lure hopefully someone.

    Taking in a small breath, Haruhi approached the first girl who walked by the store and gave her a small smile. She wouldn’t use any of the flirtatious things that Tamaki would use, or charm her with any of the antics that the twins did, or even use something cute like Honey. She would use the natural charm she was praised on constantly.

    “Hello miss, I’m sorry to bother you, but could I ask a favor of you?”

Tamaki froze as he was walking down the street. The radiance. He had grown out of his phase, but did he really grow out of being as suave as his father.

He'd figured it would be a simple enough trip, but somehow he'd managed to get lost. Maybe he'd taken a wrong turn somewhere? Where exactly he'd taken said turn, he couldn't be sure and the scribbled handwriting on the folded piece of paper in his hands didn't offer much help in finding the answer. Letting out a sigh of defeat, he glanced around in search of someone who may just be able to help point him in the right direction. With a brief shake of his head at the sight of the mostly deserted street, he set his sights on entering one of the shops instead. Why was it that no one seemed to be around when you needed them? Studying the items displayed on the shop's windows he made his way to the store's door, pulling said door open so he could walk into the shop. Letting the door slide shut behind himself he looked around the mostly empty shop, still too early in the morning for there to be much of a crowd. Spotting the counter off to the left of the entrance he decided that that was as good a place to start as any. "Hi, sorry," He said loud enough to get the younger teen's attention as he approached the checkout, "I think I might be lost and was wondering or more like hoping you'd maybe be able to help?" He explained as he stopped a few short feet from the counter.

Cheshire had been out and about the castle grounds, doing whatever the cat does during his free time when a commotion struck the city. Of course, he ignored it until he could hear a voice echoing through the city. It sounded familiar. And so different all at the same time.

And it chilled the cat to his core.

He heard the guards around him cry something about butterflies and an akuma, yet the cat couldn’t entirely understand what was happening. Peering out from the fence, he snarled as he realized he couldn’t see or hear much shit from here. “What the hell are they all blabbering about? Why is everyone so afraid by a little butterfly?”

Little did anyone know, the vegan-loving boy was allergic to chocolate, and he was nervous about the brownies. Little did he know, he didn’t realize that the brownies were made with carob so when he didn’t die later in the day, he thought he was cured.

Things didn’t end well for him the next day when he ate a chocolate bar.

Usagi had seen the girls bag from the other side of the street and instantly, without warning or a care she had yelled at her to freeze as she quickly ran towards her.

Her eyes shined with pure elation as she stared at the girls bag once she was in front of her. It was probably the cutest thing she had ever seen and she needed to know where she had gotten it from so she could try to get her own, or somehow convince her boss that she totally needed it for the next photo shoot! Make it the center of attention, all that jazz.

“Where did you get this bag?! It’s so cute!! It looks like it could fit almost anything too! Ahh I need to get myself one!”

Emotion Roulette: INTEREST

It was both a blessing and a curse to have the heightened senses of a cat. Kyo was able to see at night, which helped for his late shifts and training sessions. However, something that he could have easily done without was the ability to smell everything. Terrible odors, pleasant aromas. Every little thing caught his attention and it was god awful terrible.

Today his curiosity got the best of him. Something smelled sweet and it smelled fresh. And another thing about being inhabited by the spirit of a cat: curiosity often got the best of you. 

So here Kyo was, following his nose as he walked into a shop. The boy wasn’t paying much attention as he wandered around Belinia, so that may have been his first mistake. But as he walked in, he immediately froze when he realized this wasn’t a sweet shop and a common place to find something sweet. “Uh...”

    The girl had been looking at him strangely for the longest time, and he already knew why she was. His giant frog hat had caught her eye as it had always caught everyones eyes but he knew already that it seemed to bug her the most. He was curious as to why and lucky for him, he got his answer when she approached him and asked him why he even wore it.

    “Ahh you see, if I take this hat off, the fake prince will suddenly appear and stab me with his knifes until I die. It’s part of my uniform now and forever and honestly it protects my head from getting speared.”
