गरीब, सेऊ धड़ पर शीश चढ़ा, बैठा पंगत मांही। नहीं घरैरा गर्दन पर, औह सेऊ अक नांही।।
ऋग्वेद मंडल नं. 10 सूक्त 161 मंत्र 2, मंडल नं. 9 सूक्त 80 मंत्र 2, सामवेद मंत्र संख्या 822 में भी यहीं प्रमाण है कि परमेश्वर अपने भक्तों की आयु भी बढ़ा देता है।
