I’m curious about something: Since you headcanon Meta Knight to take in Sailor Dee as a baby, who took in baby Bandee in your drawings? (Also Kirby if you’re willing to share as well?)

About Bandee, the waddle dees at castle dedede and Dedede himself took him and raised him!

As for Kirby, he has many friends that he values as family in my canon! He, Bandee, Sailor, Dedede and Meta are like a found family, but other characters may act as a guardian to him as well (like daroach, as an example)

Doesn't galaxia electrocute people who try to grab her? (at least in the anime) How is sailor able to wield her?

My hc for her is a little different from the anime- yes she does electrocute people, but only those she is not fond of who try to wield her (ex. why Kirby is also able to so in amazing mirror)

Since she's seen Meta taking Sailor under his wing I think she's let Sailor wield her also because. Grandmalaxia

i have a question!!! youve drawn kirby really tiny in some of your art ( im assuming they are a baby there ) and was wondering if you could share your hcs about that? im curious hehe :>

ohh!! the reason why i always draw him smaller than the others is because i headcanon that puffballs get bigger as they grow up, here's a little height chart about it + a couple more doodles (ft. vega)!

another lil thing is, i like to think meta's a little smaller compared to other adult puffballs like Galacta (and Nebula jsjd)

hehe :]c i hc that waddle dees actually have fur when they are adults too but it's very short compared to the fluff they have as babies and if you pet em- you can see a faint imprint

yep! i do have some more hcs regarding trident knight cause i can't stop thinking about him jdjsjd

he doesn't like to talk much but the few times he does talk, all that comes out of his mouth is wanya-talk and it's also high-pinched, so it usually goes like this

he's never shown himself under his armor to the meta-knights for a long time, he did and is starting to feel more comfortable about it only recently but the first one that actually found out about him being a waddle dee was sailor when he was little, he was waddling around the halberd and noticed the door of the training room where trident just finished training was open he got curious and walked in

and about his relationship with meta, he really looks up to him!! (and he relates to him a little bit)

Wait a minute so is Mace knight dark matter?

Hmm yes and no! I'll try to explain under the cut

I think he is some sort of dark being that was born in the shadows, but at the same time he's not really related to dark matter

Since his eyes look very robotic I thought he found some robot parts in the past, got used to them and in the end became a part of him (like, the monitor for his eyes is floating in his head)

Also! Got the inspiration for this hc from kirby's adventure's artwork

I've been changing them a lot after seeing other people's amazing interpretations of the two (and also thanks to Forgotten Land's release jsjsd), i'll put them under the cut!

They met in Dreamland as kids: Dedede was brought there because of random portals appearing in Winter Horns due to Fecto Elfilis being "sealed" there in the Forgotten Land for a long time and started to slowly losing control of their powers, and he was adopted by the waddle dees/doos living there. While i think Meta was born there on Popstar, maybe around Nutty Noon? (i hc that puffballs are born like shooting stars, it's usually unknown when or where they'll land) and so he got to Dreamland and met Dedede because he wanted to explore the planet

After knowing each other for a while and becoming friends Meta started reading some history books getting more and more interested in them (+ stories about kings and knights hehe) and found out about all the stuff the ancients did and create + the sealing of the 4 heroes of Yore (he soon will find Galaxia thanks to that 👀) and so, he decided to explore more. Because of that he had to say goodbye to his friend with a promise that he will come back in the future

When Meta did come back with The Drip™ and a couple more scars from past battles to train himself he found Dedede being a King and all that and got to work under him for a while until the whole romk thing happened (still have to plan out how that happened in my hcs hsgf but i find it hilarious thinking that Dedede didn't know anything about that until like some time after the Halberd sank)

little bonus: Meta got to meet Sailor there in the castle's nursery, he was like the only one that could somehow manage to calm sailor down wheneve he started crying and so the Dad Instinct kicked in (since i hc he and Bandana where found around that time) and he adopted him, then he went to find a crew and started working on the Halberd a lil after he started working under Dedede

It's no secret how you feel about Meta and Sailor, so what's your interpretation of how they met? (Or all of his crew, for that matter?)

These are very messy but I'll try to sum up how I think meta met his crew under the cut

- Meta met Sailor at castle dedede and decided to adopt him when Sailor was still a baby (dad mode: activated)

- I really like the hc where Axe is related to Necrodeus/the skull gang and to add to that I like to think Mace met him after Axe came on popstar and became besties at a young age and then when they grew up they decided to join meta after they found out that Meta was looking for people for his crew

- Javelin was built by Meta! Short before the halberd was finished

- Sword and Blade probably heard about Meta from all across popstar thanks to his amazing swordfighting skills and joined the moment they heard about him looking for a crew

- Vul joined after he heard about meta wanting to overthrow dedede (and also he has a wife and kids)

- Trident Knight is a waddle dee

yes! Dedede did build a big one where every dee can stay and play with each other, it's where waddle parents usually take care of their wanyas too!! And it is also full of cushions, plushies, anything comfy!

as for the hcs, i have this little doodle of a waddle mama taking care of her waddles, if that'll do :]
