finished 3-D piece.. i used mixed media of wire to imitate a fork, felt, paint, mixed fabric to imitate fire, and thick fabric for the carpet. i also added a little modelling clay skull companion that i made in a workshop a while back.

I finally finished the little DIY room! The flocked bear figure didn't come with the original kit, but I thought it would make a perfect plushie for the piece so I added it in.

teeny room. i got sent the wrong kit by mistake, but it was easier for the company to just give a partial refund than either of us deal with shipping/reshipping the exchange. most of the plants and stuff that comes with this kit is going to be cannibalized into one of my NSFW kits not posted on this channel. but, i did put it together for just a cute, chill evening project. also skipped the leg string lights, and just did one lamp. i like dark rooms personally, so just a single light source is super appealing.

Upgrading the 'polaroid magnet' idea of 2019 for 2023's Xmas card trades, these ones are made from wood and use actual magnets! Luxurious! |D All the poses are also referenced from actual party photos i've taken of other people, to add to the candid vibe lol.

The dreamcatcher is kind of a gag gift (yes the craft project i reffed here) for some friends. Since they don't have the ability to fight their nightmares i have offered to [try and] do it for them XD

Made from: Wooden craft polaroid (plus some backing MDF pieces), magnet, misc decorating items (glitter, wooden shapes, gel pens, paint etc). The dreamcatcher is just a storebought one with laminated paper mes wired to it

The Mane 6 all going after their go to creative activity! This was directly inspired by the MLP Art/Creative Discord server we set up, since it got me wondering what each would enjoy and share of their own.

AJ making adorable little wood creatures. Rarity obviously doing some creative sketching. Pinkie doing some art - which I imagine as falling into expressionism. Fluttershy composing melodies and songs, possibly with lyrics. Rainbow doing art as well, though pure chaos and just letting out all her emotions, going for abstract until it feels right. And finally, Twilight being a writer (she will absolutely deny writing fanfiction while being completely red faced).

i tried making curtains for my sculpture piece yesterday in the vice in studio 5.. although i thought this technique would work for making folds in my curtains, it didn’t quite fold how i wanted them to. in my effort to salvage this, i just folded my curtains by hand and hot glued them together inbetween the folds.. i also burned my curtains partially as my piece is in a burning scene and i thought it would add a realistic touch. i also moulded an oven out of clay yesterday and i started painting it today to add to the piece.
