Deviantart supports AI
This is just sad. I saw this post on Twitter and went to Deviantart news site to get a closer look and it's official; Deviantart no longer supports actual artists but art thieves. To me, AI is nothing more than mish mash stolen pics from the artists and not crediting them.
That person on the news, Miko is only on Deviantart for a year and already she has 13.8 K watchers and sold her AI pics for over $12,000 hence making her the most popular deviant 'artist' on the site. If it was me or other artists who don't use AI, it would have taken us years to get to that kind of goal due to slow and steady method. But Miko and other AI users who decided to take a faster shortcut? Less than a year! I was on DA for fourteen years(2007) and it took me over a decade to have over 400 watchers(it was 413) but sadly, I closed my account and it'll be a long time before I earned a lot of watchers on other sites so I had to start all over. Same with other artists who started out small but over the years, they too earned a lot of watchers but now had to loose them to move to other sites and starting from scratch.
Its such bullshit that Deviantart used to be against art theft only to become the site that they very much against with. They just basically gave us artists a middle finger and telling us to go f@&% ourselves. I am so glad I already removed my gallery a year before they introduced AI and closing my DA account last year. Seeing that news post just confirms that I made a right decision.
