PERSONALIDADE
Minhas amigas costumam me descrever de muitas formas. Yumeno, por exemplo, uma vez me perguntou como consigo ser tão animada sem me importar muito com o que os outros pensam. Ao contrário de Junko que insinuou por diversas vezes que sou desnecessária - isso só porque eu falo demais? Qual o problema? Pessoas que conversam bastante são incríveis, e eu tento mostrar isso a ela há anos! Sakura também parece não gostar muito desse meu jeito meio extravagante, mas fazer o quê? É a minha essência. Ainda assim, me acho bastante companheira, otimista, e sempre digo que nunca é tarde para aproveitar a vida - ela guarda segredos maravilhosos! Gosto de manter esse bom astral até mesmo para continuar sendo um bom exemplo para a minha irmã mais nova.
PASSADO
Nunca imaginei que um dia precisaria preencher uma ficha contando minha história, mas aqui estou, empolgada e confiante. Quero começar citando que nasci e cresci em Tsushima, e... Minha infância foi absolutamente normal? Nunca aconteceu nada de muito extraordinário, o que me deixava completamente no tédio. E a falta do que fazer era taaanta que decidi por mim mesma pintar uma parede de azul e amarelo, isso aos meus dois anos, pensando que estava fazendo a obra de arte mais revolucionária do mundo. Lembro da cara de espanto da minha mãe por ver a parede, antes branca, completamente colorida — inclusive, essa é a lembrança mais antiga que eu tenho.
Isso significa que desde cedo sempre fui entrosada nas artes, sendo que inicialmente meu plano era me tornar desenhista. Cresci, isso passou; quis ser atriz, fotógrafa, designer, programadora e até modelo. Tudo passou pela minha cabeça, mas eu sempre sonhei demais. Sempre senti que Tsushima, embora maravilhosa, não fosse o meu lugar.
E foi por isso que, ao me formar no ensino médio, eu decidi que viajaria; não, eu não queria ir para a Europa ou Estados Unidos como muitos de meus amigos almejavam. Eu queria um pouquinho mais além — quem sabe um país tropical? O Brasil era minha maior e única opção desde os meus 14 anos, quando precisei fazer um trabalho cultural sobre o mesmo e minha paixão foi instantânea. Fiquei tão impressionada que foi ainda nessa época que comecei a pesquisar sobre o lugar, estudar o idioma e acompanhar algumas de suas celebridades, mesmo que a internet não costumasse colaborar.
Meus pais sempre apoiaram meus sonhos loucos, então o dinheiro que juntei durante o ensino médio para me mudar foi completado por economias que eles mesmos tinham. Lembro da euforia quando consegui uma vaga em uma universidade no Brasil, a correria com os documentos, o dia da partida, os olhares tristes de despedida dos meus pais e da minha irmãzinha mais nova...
Naquele momento eu quase voltei atrás, mas Kotori não deixou. Ela sempre me incentivou tanto a realizar os meus sonhos, então respirei fundo e fui. Eu cresceria lá no Brasil e traria bons frutos para casa, para meus pais e minha irmã que sempre estiveram comigo.
PRESENTE
Pode parecer loucura, mas eu ingressei na Universidade de São Paulo como intercambista e o começo foi muito difícil. Entrei em Publicidade e Propaganda, e na época tive crise de ansiedade, chorei, me descabelei e pensei por muitas vezes voltar pra casa, porque estar sozinha em um país desconhecido é assustador. Eu tinha de fingir para os meus pais que estava tudo bem, e essa era a parte mais difícil... Só fui me adaptar mais ou menos depois de um ano lá, e sigo apaixonada pelo lugar.
Usei tudo o que eu aprendi na faculdade para engajar minhas redes sociais, porque sabe, existem muitos patrocinadores brasileiros dispostos a divulgarem suas marcas! Ao decorrer dos anos eu consegui visibilidade suficiente para começar a pagar minhas próprias coisas, sem mais precisar da ajuda financeira dos meus pais. Estudar integralmente não me dava oportunidade de trabalhar fixa em alguma empresa, mas, por sorte, já estou formada e com a vida aparentemente encaminhada.
Hoje, voltei para Tsushima para passar minhas férias aqui. Há quase seis anos em outro país fez com que a saudade de casa apertasse, e eu precisava sentir novamente o abraço de Kotori.
FUTURO
Não saber o que esperar do futuro é estar muito perdida? Sabe, não sou do tipo realmente famosa nas redes sociais, mas não sei se quero investir nisso. Gosto de publicidade, de marketing, de vender, de quebrar a cabeça pensando em divulgações... Sei que é disso que eu gosto, então só deixo “a vida me levar”. O futuro a Deus pertence, como dizem alguns amigos meus!

i haven't finished watching nanani yet but im going to guess that my favorite part is going to be michopa and mizuhara kiko, 2 girls in their 20s, having a blast in the interactive art exhibits and incorporating 3 guys in their 40s into their fun

From Sakurai Ariyoshi The Yakai 2021/12/30 (part 1):
They’re talking about what Jun’s been doing this year. He’s been taking it slow, working for 3 months starting April, then taking another 3 month break. He currently has work.
Ariyoshi: (pointing at Sho) He’s working like a cart-horse, why is it so different?
M: It’s because he wants to work.
S: Just as he said.
M: I thought that I just wanted to take it easy. Ohno is… Leader decided he wanted a full break. I wondered what the other three were planning to do, turns out they’re working like cart-horses. Just like usual.
Ariyoshi: He even did the election special program.
Jun explains he wanted to have a balanced life, so even with 99.9 and other jobs, he wants to take it easy whenever he can.
He mostly stays at home. He enjoys being able to sleep and wake up whenever he wants. Last year he couldn’t sleep well. Even if he slept, he’d end up waking up.
Sho wonders if he doesn’t get tired of living that way. Maybe it’s fine at the start, but…?
M: It’s not always like that. Around February…
S: You had enough (laughs).
M: I had about a month to do nothing.
Ariyoshi asks him if he doesn’t worry about his life ending just as is, or work would stop coming. Jun says he doesn’t think about that at all. He already knew he’d have filming in April so he calculated the timing. He started moving his body in mid February, waking up early, making plans on what to do and so on.
Ariyoshi: (to Sho) Do that!
M: You should do that!
S: (shakes head)
Michopa: He wants to work!
S: I’ll become worried…
M: What are you worried about?
S: If I don’t fill my schedule I get worried.
Fukazawa asks him about his hobbies. Other than eating and drinking, Jun talks about his projector which supports 4K and 8K. He’d watch things like World Heritage videos, appreciating the beauty while drinking.
Michopa wants to know if he cooks. Jun mostly orders take-out. He has a lot of friends who work in restaurants so when they don’t have work sometimes he calls them over and ask them to make him something.
S: This person is amazing. That one time, my manager told me that the day before Matsumoto-san made a party to appreciate the managers’ hard work. He invited all managers to his house. I thought, did he have that many chairs? He doesn’t have enough, right? It turned out that he asked his chef friend to come to his house and treat the managers.
Ariyoshi: In that case, there’s no way he won’t have work. They’ll think, “For Matsumoto-san’s sake…!”
Jun says that among their managers, there are younger ones and older ones, but due to alcohol even the younger ones became able to say various things to their boss and to Jun. It was interesting to see people who usually work so seriously in that situation. It was fun.
Ariyoshi didn’t have that impression about Jun, that he calls people over, he thought he’d probably fuss over the cleanliness and such. Jun doesn’t mind and calls his friends over often, and those friends bring their friends so it keeps increasing.
S: What was frightening is that when Ninomiya and Aiba… At Matsujun’s place there are paintings, artworks made by big artists. They saw those and kept going, “Who made this? Can I touch it? Can I touch it?” I was like, “Stop that! That’s not for touching! It’s for your eyes only!” Then, while grinning he went, “That’s fine. If you touch it, that also adds value.” It was frightening! I wished they’d stop it. They were like, “I’m touching it~”
Michopa wonders if they often meet for work.
S: We meet quite often.
M: In private life, too.
S: For example during the Olympics, after filming in the morning, I went to Matsujun’s place.
M: He did.
Fukazawa: At Matsumoto-kun’s place?
M: It was kinda like, let’s have a meeting.
S: So while talking about work, we drank expensive water. He lined them up and let me chose by myself. There was one I’d never seen so I looked it up. It was expensive.
Ariyoshi: Instead of asking you looked it up?
S: I couldn’t ask him that.
M: He was drinking with Ohno that one time. (Sho too) Ohno too, those two were really drunk. I received a call (from Ohno) around 23:30. I had to wake up early so I was planning to go to bed at 0:00 so being asked, “Can you come over?” gave me a very complicated feeling. He was really drunk. So I thought I’d just bring water over as a gift. I told him, “Drink this.” The water I gave them was that one.
S: It’s good water.
