I was giggling throughout. This ep finding the rhythm of tone and pace I had hoped it would. And the editing in the phone call between Maxine and her husband was very clever. Also, the wardrobe is to die for. Maybe literally for one person!

The country is rocked by a shock mass shooting in Melbourne. When Helen races to air with confronting footage of the aftermath, she is seen as exploiting the tragedy and public sentiment shifts against her.

I was rooting for Helen the entire episode until she spoke with Noelene. She was so dismissive and unhelpful. She should know we are stronger together and be kinder to her female coworkers. Especially ones as nice as Noelene.

Arthur fumbling his words when he thinks Merlin has been under his bed all night. What was he doing that Merlin shouldn't know about? The gentle way Merlin cradled Arthur's head after he passed out. Right infront of Gaius's salad. Arthur exiting quickly after Merlin goes in for a hug. It's okay to be vulnerable, Arthur. Let him hold you.

One Piece 1x03 Tell No Tales

Luffy, Zoro, and Nami meet Usopp in the Syrup Village a small, peaceful village. Usopp tells all sorts of lies about his adventures he has never been to his friend, Kaya, who has been sick in bed for over a year since she lost her parents.

The boy who cried "the pirates are coming" was right this time. Please someone other than a marine believe him. And if Kaya lived in the SW Universe she would be thriving with all that blue tea and soup. I hope she and Nami are able to remain friends after they save her. They do save her, right? Or is it too late. :(

And we know that canonically Arthur is 20 turning 21 in season one soooo..

WHAT is with my insatiable desire to re-watch msp 500 times. i just finished my third full re-watch of the show, and i could genuinely go back to the first episode right now and start it all over again

Byler is Merthur 2.0.

So, I was reading the comments on this Merthur analysis video on youtube, and as I scrolled further down, I realized how similar they are to Byler.

Also, Merlin is a wizard and Arthur is a knight. Just like Will and Mike. I wouldn't be surprised if the Duffer brothers were somewhat inspired by Merlin.

BBC Merlin Season 1 Re-watch

The amount of serotonin I received from the opening credits of this show is the reason I had no friends in late high school and college. 

Morgana and her dresses. Iconic. 

The sole amount of flirting that went on in the first season. 

Merlin is a Bi cutie in this season: the heart eyes he gives Gwen and Lancelot. 

I mean literally everyone had heart eyes for everyone else in this season. Seriously. They are all cuties. 

The Moment of Truth is my favorite episode this season. Once again, Morgana’s outfits: the fir, armor, that metal neckless she wears. 

Merlin and Gaius. That is all. I love them. 

This show is still to this day my all-time favorite thing. Re-watching the first season was like visiting a friend (probably because as stated above, it consumed my life) :D

I still wish Merlin was longer than 5 seasons. Till this day it’s one of my favorites shows and the casting was great. I don’t care, they should’ve stretched it like those other show that have 15+ seasons.

I miss them so much, such a great cast with amazing chemistry.

We should have known

Kilgharrah told us straight of the bat that merlin was going to end in pain.

"No young man, no matter how great, can know his destiny. He cannot glimpse his past into the great story that is about to unfold. Like all others, he must live and learn."

He was already giving warning that just because he is informing merlin in on his destiny does not mean hes giving him everything, especially how its all going to end.

So if anything Kilgharrah was just being a smart ass since the very second we entered this. we should have know. (That arse.🗿)

i think i might be the stupidest person in the merlin fandom. it just set in – months after i saw the episode for the first time – that valiant is named valiant because he's a coward. i've seen this episode like five times. this is so awful

Trying to make my brain write for a fandom while I'm hyperfixating on another is like a child clinging to the playground and I'm yanking at it's legs with no avail...

once I can figure out a style that can convey the vibes I think arthuriana knights specifically should have (eerie) then I will begin to chew on some of these other ideas. I'm going to be so mad if it turns out the vibes can only be accomplished by going full tilt into experimental chaos, but I'll commit to it if I must.

So me and friend decided to redownload New World. While it was downloading we swapped videos. (Used watch together on discord) There's were angry funny anime reviews and commentary of games. Mine where compilations from Merlin This may or may not be part of my ongoing plot to convince them to watch Merlin or at least Understand it and stuff. They know I am plotting this. Because I told them. Because I am not good at plots. We did this for hours, played New World for about 10 minutes remembered why we hated the game and ended game night.
