Willow Nightingale's star shines SEVERELY... and Kris been mad about it.

For the past few weeks, months at this point, I'd been giving Kris Statlander and Stokely the side eye. Ever since Kris had lost her TBS Championship to Juila, she's been struggling to pick up wins. There were wins here and there, but for the ones that mattered she couldn't come up with the W.

She lost to Skye Blue twice (once in a street fight tag match w/ Willow). She lost to Riho. AND She'd lost a 1v1 rematch against Willow at World's End AS WELL AS the 4-Way TBS Title Contendership; an opportunity to get her belt back.

I'd felt that jealousy may be brewing within Kris during her slump after losing her title to Juila (which she shouldn't have btw). But she was being a respectful competitor and "supportive" friend to Willow while Willow was on the rise.

In walks Mercedes Moné who has her own axe to grind with not only the wrestling industry, naysayers & doubters but with Willow. It was in her match with Willow where she suffered a devastating injury that threatened her career and put her on the shelf for a whole year!

So with Willow's eyesight on the TBS title, Mercedes was out for her and the gold.

Fast forward to AEW Dynasty and Willow Nightingale defeats Julia Hart and is finally the new TBS Champion after numerous attempts at grabbing the belt.

Kris and Stokely celebrate with her until Mercedes crashes the party after letting it be known that she wants first dibs at the TBS title at Double of Nothing.

There's a bunch of talk in the meantime and some mysterious attacks.

Then we finally get to the TBS Title match with Willow v. Mercedes and Mercedes pick up the win after Kris & Stokely distract the referee "unintentionally" costing Willow the match.

I'd wanted to be wrong about Kris backstabbing Willow, but the shady behavior since Willow won the title wasn't too shady after all.

Her and Stokely are suspiciously outside of Mercedes' dressing room when she's attached. Willow get mysteriously attacked right before a match on Dynamite. When Mercedes confronts Willow about her attack and smacks her after Kris intervenes, Kris restrains Willow & doesn't let her get her lick back. WITH FRIENDS LIKE THAT WHO NEEDS ENEMIES?!

But after Willow loses the title, Kris comforts her and I'm like "Okay, maybe she won't turn. Maybe I am wrong. I want to be wrong". And then she pushes Stokely who gets irate at Willow for no reason and I'm like "Yeah Kris! Fuck him! Don't turn on your girl!" and then BOOM!

NEVER TRUST A JEALOUS CHICK WITH PAPER MACHE FOR KNEE CAPS!

I'd seen many go with the theory that Kris Statlander and Stokely were working with Mercedes to screw Willow out of the title in some revenge that Mercedes had against her. Willow "took" a year out of Mercedes' career, so in turn Mercedes was going to take her title as well as her friends in return.

And while that story would have been great; it only would have been great if Kris wasn't a former TBS Champion herself!

As a former champion, why would Kris cost her best friend the very title that she had won (just a short year ago) for the "new girl" to come in and win it? Why would a former champion want to stand behind anyone holding the very title that they'd lost? They wouldn't!

I'm interested to see what reason Kris has for turning besides the fact that she's a hating ass bitch & Stokely been thirsty for milk because he still believes milk will help him grow.

I'm so hurt for Willow. All she's ever been was rainbow, sunshine, a badass and easily the best TBS champion to date in just four weeks.

The street fight queen is about to FUCK SOME SHIT UP and I can't wait to see it.
