Now every early autumn my thoughts turn to moose, whales and harbor seals, lighthouses and sail boats, green mountain coffee, maple syrup, blueberries, and lobsters 🦞, Mohegan island, Cadillac mountain, Camden, Bar Harbor, Rockport, and most of all the art of Winslow Homer, Andrew Wyeth, Robert Henri, and even John Singer Sargent who spent time painting here. Summer of Love 9 x 12 acrylics on canvas I never considered myself a car person until April when @ajonestn and I walked to Woodland Street, aka Motor Alley, to the @mikewolfeamericanpicker @columbiacarsandcoffee event and I saw for the first time a 1957 @chevrolet Bel Air Station wagon. Angels were singing. My vintage soul leaped. Huhhh? Could I be a “car person” after all??? To test the theory I’ve been perusing photos of vintage cars. The @vw bus grabbed my fancy as well.
