That latest ask about Melker made mewonder. In the past asks about him, he sounded just as bad as Lancelot. Has he gone through a change during the writing process or is it like how Lancelot is mainly a giant dingdong to Mordred specifically due to well intentioned extremism, and outside of that he can be a civil dragon as long as Mordred isn't involved?
I wrote a mini game for Patreon this month which briefly featured Melker and sitting down to write it I realized what I had established about the dragon didn't resonate with me any longer. So, yeah, just another change in the writing process.
Now, he won't be getting chummy with Mordred, but he's more... Calculated, restrained. If Mordred is meant to be the villain, they should keep an eye on them but there's no need to bully them.

Like the only comment towards the top that was scared about the whole thing with Lovell telling Bo to kill everyone, was only worried about Ahlander
