A Párizsban élő Jean-Luc Guionnet (szaxofon) és Seijiro Murayama (dob) 2006-ban kezdte meg a közös munkát. Első találkozásuk Catherine Diverrès koreográfiájához köthető, ahol a táncosokhoz hasonlóan különböző játékszabályokat találtak ki az improvizációhoz. A tér használata, a csendben, a hangszínekben való intenzív jelenlét olyan új utakat nyitott meg előttük, amit szükségesnek éreztek egy tisztán zenei projektben tovább kutatni. Zenéjük első hallgatásra talán túl nyersnek, minimalistának hat. Ha azonban jobban odafigyelünk, s akárcsak ők, mi hallgatók is teljes jelenlétünkkel fókuszálunk a legapróbb rezzenésekre és magára a "semmire" is, egy végtelenül gazdag világ nyílhat meg előttünk. Ezúttal a bécsi Klaus Filippel érkeznek, aki maga is több évtizede aktív szereplő az európai improvizatív zenében. Zenészként és programozóként is leginkább a hanghullámok természete érdekli, időbeliségük problémája és érzékelhetőségük határa mellett elsősorban az akusztikus hangszerekhez való viszonyuk, melynek vizsgálatához a Guionnet-val és Murayamával alkotott közös triójuk kiváló terepként szolgál.

A Németországból érkező Teresa Riemann zenész, énekes, performanszművész, író és költő egyszemélyben. 2021 óta koncentrál elsősorban szólóprojektjére, amelyben minden oldala egyaránt szerephez jut. Performanszaiban a tudat és az ösztön harcát jeleníti meg, a sötétséget és még inkább a fényt kutatja. Azokat a titkos helyeket keresi, amelyeket jobban szeretünk zárva tartani, távol attól, hogy bárki láthassa őket. Jonas Engel fő hangszere a szaxofon, de zeneszerzőként is tevékenykedik Koppenhága és Köln kreatív zenei közösségeiben. Folyamatosan keresi a hangzás továbbfejlesztésének és újradefiniálásának lehetőségeit kiterjesztett játéktechnikák és saját építésű hangszerei segítségével. Since 2011 ha has been the residence of CNES, the space agency of France, where he collaborates with scientists from various fields. With his main interests being music and fine arts, he’s a former programmer, actor, photographer, recently a father – and will be: a researcher of acoustic oscillators. As a founding member and traveller of the 12z collective, he has contributed to many concert, openings, movies and dance performances. His central themes are environmental sounds, noise-melodies, (non)existence, equality = inequality. He’s a drummer, a trombonist, and a self-taught composer too. He’s known both as a soloist and a member of the Novi Sad-based experimental bands Nojzac and Ex You. He was a co-founder of the ’Petar Drapšin’ art collective in 2017, a member of the ’Restrikcije’ contemporary music ensemble, and an associate of ’Per.Art’, an organisation producing contemporary art (music, dance, literature) performances. Also a co-founder and an active member (2010-2017) of KNAP, a civil association organizing „free” and „non-idiomatic” improvised concerts in Novi Sad. This year he also curates the ’Pokretnica’ art festival. At the JazzaJ / EIIEKTRIIK event he’ll present an improvised, analogue electronic set using a feedback looped Fostex 280 multitrack recorder, a walkman and tapes.
