Hello!! I followed you for your absolutely amazing Twisted Wonderland comics (thank you for making them, by the way-) but I saw you posting about something called Ride Kamens? I haven’t heard of it before, what’s it about? Or if that’s a bit much to ask, where could I find more info about it? It seems right up my alley 👀

Ride Kamens is still doing prerelease marketing and isn't out yet; it's set for "early summer 2024", so a bit yet to go! similar to Twst, it's a mobile game about anime boys loosely based on an existing franchise (Kamen Rider), although it seems like it's going to be more standalone/won't require familiarity with Rider going in.

the (very) basic premise is that your player character has just taken over their late father's role as a secret agent, supporting the city's superheroes by running a secret base disguised as a cafe (plus you have a personal butler for some reason) (the reason is because it's amazing). you also have to help the heroes regain their lost memories, and it looks like it'll have a bit of a route/choice aspect there (not romance, just different endings to the character episodes depending on what you do). the details are kinda hard to tell at this point but the characters seem like a really fun bunch; there's definitely big "idiots with emotional problems" energy which I am extremely into.

all the official info is in Japanese only at the moment, but here's the website and the ride_kamens twitter! (though the twitter is sort of overtaken by posts about the AnimeJapan exhibit right now, whoops.) and I believe some people are already planning on doing translations for it too? lots to look forward to! :D

i can't sleep and i am crying and thinking of ken ;-; i love him so much i miss him so much. i have needed him so much. i miss starscream even more and i hate that the entire TF universe was taken from me and ruined. but. i. im so glad i have barbie and ken i need them so fucking bad.

im so glad i have six and sebastian and officer k, and hopefully as time goes on i'll have a few more f/os from watching more of ryan and margot's movies. im so glad i have these other universes to hop around in for a little bit. my brain seriously just wouldnt attach to anything at all and it was killing me. i want to hope i can go back to TF one day but in the meantime, im so relieved i have ken. i love him so so so so much. it feels so good to think of f/os again every moment. it feels so much better to listen to music again, watch things again, draw things again. i'm still torn into fucking pieces every time i see starscream or see something that reminds me of bee or arcee or literally whoever. im fucking destroyed. but at least now when i fall i know barbie and ken are always gonna catch me

Bloom spoke into her phone weaving her way through the lecture hall of her art history class. While she loved her sorority deeply she also couldn't afford to be thinking about this right now. She needed at least a B- after her major switch and Professor McGee could be vicious.

"We need to dig deep into our Zeta Theta Delta spirit of sisterhood..." She began oh so poetically filled with that 'can do spirit' she was so known for amongst her sorority. "...and keep those girls away from Omega Phi even if it means dragging them by their hair extensions during the powderpuff game into the dirt. Because if they seduce them at the party tonight and we lose that mixer scheduled for next week we can say goodbye to our spirit points and the guys teaming up with us."

Bloom might be president but Stella was their social chair and there was no one more terrifying than her when it came to their social ranking and events. Rubbing her forehead she dropped into the closest free seat. "Keep it together you've got this you're pledge representative for a reason just pick up some puffy paint and get to work. ...Yes Katie can borrow some shoes for tonight." She hung up on the poor freshman who'd been forced to make the call and let out a deep sigh. Three more months. That's how much longer she had to keep going before a college degree was in her hands.

Honestly, Randall was surprised to know that someone else she knew was afraid of the Fae: In many ways, it seemed like such a uniquely Pace fear, as his father confessed to being similarly superstitious on account of having been raised on the same stories, seeing nothing fun or whimsical about being at the whim of such capricious beings. To know someone else out there had the same fear, it was a pleasant surprise to hear, honestly.

And honestly, he didn't hold it against her for laughing; it was a little funny, he could admit that...a grown man being paralyzed by the idea of the likes of Tinkerbell was an admittedly funny image, and so he could laugh along, before he listened to her own confession, and finding an affinity with her when she did.

"Ah, I, uh, I used to get spooked by thunderstorms too," he replied with a small smile, saying, "I used to think the thunder was, uh...the footsteps of giants walking around, probably looking for children to gobble up. When I was very little, I used to walk up and run hollering to my parents' room and want to sleep between them."

Fortunately, his parents were good sports about letting him sleep there for the night, his mother kissing his dark curls and swearing not to let a giant snack on her little boy, while his father bundled him in blankets, promising to fight any giants who dared stick their big noses in their houses. Randall, at that age, firmly believed his father could take down such beings, just like the giant heroes of old, and that made him feel very safe and secure as he drifted off back to sleep.
