After hunting this for over a year, and doing some creative literal horse trading, I got my hands on this figure.

His clothes are cloth. There’s a wire in the edge of that cape so it’s posable.

He is very posable as well and has a bunch of crap (including different hands, that right arm comes off distressingly easily) and I’ve decided I’m devoting playtime after I get some stuff done.

Anyway, he is reading RPF about himself on The Story Mill (which is a hilarious fic by @jenseits-der-sterne )

The @medicom_toy Vinyl Collectible Doll of Jessica Rabbit was released in 2003 and was a Limited Edition of 1000. They were only sold in Japan but were available to the USA through @hobbylink.japan At the time she cost around $30. She is around 9” tall and comes with a display stand. Roger Rabbit and Benny the Cab were released first, with Jessica soon to follow. I can’t tell you how extremely impressed I was with this statue. It’s beautiful. The colors are vibrant, the plastic is smooth and the pose is perfect. The dress has a pearlized finish to it. This was my first time seeing it in over a decade as it was in storage, and the first time she’d been out of the package since 2003. It’s a fantastic piece. HR Giger Bear

Based on the art of HR Giger, and derived from a line named after Stanley Kubrick.

I'm a huge fan of HR Giger's art. From the first time I saw Alien I was captivated by his layered and grotesquely human pieces.

By the time Medicom released these for Be@rbrick series 12, I was already collecting designer toys. I was able to track them down from the wholesaler for the company I was working for at the time. I ended up ordering a whole case - and I ended up getting not only the standard Giger Bear, but also the Secret Bear for this series.

This is also an example of a repaired figure. The black Giger Bear - the Secret Bear for the series - broke in an accident that knocked the displays off of my wall. The legs are attached on a small ball and peg joint, making it hard to repair without keeping the joint from moving.

This figure has been repaired by drilling the ball out with a pin vise, and then using a cut paperclip to glue it back in with support. It's held for 12 years.

And if you're collecting for yourself, and not to try and flip these pieces and turn a profit, then why not repair them? It's still a gorgeous piece. And it makes it even more unique to your collection.
