You finish making the second doll but as Kanata held the soul that's going to take over the doll as it's new body in this new chance of life. You found yourself fainting.
".... 'sigh.'" Kanata is quick to catch you before you hit your head to the floor. " How 'worrisome'...." He mumbles as he made you comfortably rest on his lap.
"Ah... Oh 'no'..." He saw bright light flash as he realize he have dropped the doll just now and have thrown it to the nearest fluff.
Purple light glows as kanata look at the doll that transform into his human form.
".... I can't change anything...." The blue haired doll pouts as he was planning to have different doll to take the new body instead.
He sigh as he snap his hand and the new darling doll slowly open his eyes.
Light turquoise colored eyes stared at him yet there's no sense of understanding or anything in his eyes.
"don't make too much noise." He instructed as he brush your hair softly. He have a gentle smile on his face. The other nodded, through yet to understand things around him.

"that's weird..." The old tojou commented as he stared at the new addition to the family. Who's seems non verbal or can communicate that well like certain someone.
"he doesn't remember anything..." Kanata commented as he look at the second darling doll who's seating upright and proper yet his eyes seems empty and lifeless.
"Oh well. That's usually normal when souls pass on." He bloop the new doll nose, through he still don't get any reaction.
"All promise that's made before doesn't apply now isn't it?" He stared at the head of the household knowing too well what's his saying. Ao was taken back by Kanata words.
"This is a new life and new chance of Mayoi ayase-san.... What comes before when his a poor soul doesn't apply in the Living world." Because those things would be wash by the river of Lethe. To not carry such burden in a new life.
"then how come you remember?" Clearly shouldn't that apply to this fellow as well?
"That's a 'secret'~" Kanata clap his hand in Glee before he look at you who's sleeping on his lap again.
Fixing the hair strands that out of place and covering your face. Humming as he realize both of you and that other ritsu is sleeping peacefully.
Your sleeping so peacefully. He cannot bare to wake you up. Maybe he can use those time to look at the tales of souls.
Ao cannot help but worried about something yet Kanata doesn't seems that harmful nor have shown any aggression. His just so eccentric to begin with.
He remembers that his daughter seems to not like Kanata being around, maybe cause the other always throw her to the pond or attack her with fish when she want to propose again.
Ao wonders if his worrying too much about something that's normal.

"your one of a kind beauty~" you compliment Mayoi who hide his face behind the door. He is too ashame to look at you in the eye or be in the same room with someone like you.
Or the fact that Kanata is already with you at the moment and giving him a bombastic side eyes. Criminal offensive side eyes each minute your attention seems to focus on Mayoi instead. Before Pouting sadly cause being dejected for less attention when your not looking only at him.
"!!!!!!!" Mayoi hides away in fear of the other doll. "Ehh? You don't want to be called beauty?" You were confuse but look at Kanata who return to his usual soft smile.
"Your beautiful kanata~" you try to see if his going to react the same cause if so, your the problem.
"Your also beautiful my dollmaker ~!" The first doll beam back the compliment with sunshine smile.
"... Your acting weird." You Notice that he seems off today. "What's wrong?" You reach to pat his head but he held your hand against his cheek instead. Staring at you in the eyes.
"Living in this form, I am prone to fetal worldly emotions and sins. " He began and you give him a raise of brow. That's one fancy words his saying.
"so?"
"I'm 'jealous' of the attention your giving him (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ" he finally confess as he hugs you in tears. "Ah?" You where shocked but realize you don't know how calm him down.
"Shh.... Please don't cry...." You pat his back and wipe his tears away and trying to console him now not noticing Kuma who's watching this unfold with a bombastic side eyes.
He is certain that there's no way first batch of DD can cry cause they aren't human yet unless your very "sane" adoration and love for each dolls went to the roof again. Yet as he question that the weather outside is as sad as Kanata.
Raining yet no thunder just pouring how much Kanata cries and asking if it's bad if he can't get to use having more DD that will get you attention or the fact his sorry for being weak to 'human/ earthly' emotions.
"Kanata-san...please don't cry...!" Mayoi who cannot help but sadden by Kanata tears went out of his hiding he cannot bare to bat an eye at his fellow dolls situation. Kanata pouts still crying.
"Y-you... Ah... I'm not supposed to be... Greedy....ahhhh.... Sooobbb.... It's unfair.... I don't.... It's... Not my place..... Soob b......" He can only cry. He shouldn't be jealous or envied others. He have no position to do so especially that for him to be here the original have to perish.
The more he stay in such form of his. The more he is going to be fetal to those emotion. It's so weak of him yet. He cannot do anything, he dont wish to leave. Even if he can. He refuse.
His tears pours out even more and the storm outside start to cause of flood.
"Shhh.... Nothing wrong with being jelly." You try to comfort him. "Y-yup. So please...! Don't cry!" Mayoi added. He felt his going to cry too but he can't cry he can only worry himself up!
The two of you tries to console Kanata as Ao was screaming outside cause his laundry was just about to be dry but the rain come so sudden now it's all wet again!

There's some concerning things that been bothering you about. No, it's not the fact the so called husband of the lady of the house is often glaring at you and trying to worsen your day. You don't really give a care about him.
It's the fact the weather is so terrible and rei don't want you to outside at all. He already dragged the others with his charade.
They are talking behind your back about what cause this mess. Clearly it's Kanata. >:((
you scoff when rei offer you some favorite dish to stop you from going outside.
"im going out." You declared. "No. You aren't." Shuu stops you and then look at mayoi. "Ayase help me out here." He look over Ayase who nodded and raise his hand strings start to wrap around you but with help of Kuma ability you quickly slice it and run toward the outside garden to only be knock out by something falling on you.
Before you can even be touch by single drop of the rain.
"well then thats just karma huh." Shuu stare at you who is now unconscious but instead of you knocking your head to the floor someone manage to catch you—that being Kuma that come out from your shadows.
who also catch the culprit of your knock out state -- a very fluffy and bouncy bunny with heart marking as well smoll pink kitty.
"I do know I'm quite a looker based on the fan base ( shut up, stop breaking the forth wall!) of mine. But please stop staring." Kuma smiles through he stops when he look at the rain outside.
after putting your unconscious form into the cushion pillow and smack mayoi hands when he was about to give a cover.
"Go away, you." Annoying first placer' Kuma glared at the phantom who don't understand what's up with the stranger.
"Sorry!" -mayoi.
"don't be rude to other people without reason..." Shuu narrowed his eyes when he saw such interaction.
"It's not without reason." Kuma stared at pink cat with the bunny who's leeching itself and sobbing and the somehow familiar bunny who's deadpan looking at everyone.
He remembers seeing that bunny before but he wonder why that bunny is here to begin with.
Through that question is not important at the moment. Kuma stood up and went to drench his hand to the water as shu stopped him in the last moment.
"...."-kuma.
"If your effected by the rain then your not human... Nor do you belong here." Shu stared at Kuma who's looking at the melting flesh that's being melted by the rain drop but when he remove his hand off the pouring rain it heal right away.
"Well. I'm not human by all means." Because I'm a darling doll. Kuma stared at Your sleeping form. "But I do belong to this world." But not this time period.
"really now..." Shu stared at Kuma up and down before he realize how Kuma look like someone he knows. "Oh your relative of Rei--"
"hell na." Kuma quickly denied it as he said that the lightning Strikes across the horizon in that brick of moment everyone who's looking at the outside world they saw something odd creeping on the cracked sky and something black Fall in yet the rain melt them away.
The rain seems to continue to pour to destroy whatever those things they are seeing now. Within that moment the bunny ears perks and saw someone in far distance and began to hops toward that figure out in the rain yet Kuma quickly stop the bunny before he can be touch by the rain.
"little bunny don't go, whatever you see in the rain it's probably an illusion." Kuma mumbles as he look at the outside those weird thing form figure that he believes will never appear in his world smiling at him.

MY DARLING DOLLS 53

"I still like you." You froze when you hear the lady of the house said to you when your escorting her to groom.
"... I see..........." You have a long silence when you think about the situation.
"hmm...." She smiles and you suddenly want to let go of her hand for a moment cause she's being really weird right now. What is this person planning now.
"By the way can I help you with that doll making your doing?" She decided to change the subject after of a moment of making you really want to run away from her cause she's being weird.
"oh? Sure I guess..." But isn't that kinda dangerous for people to do that? You thought for a moment but she pulled you and hurried up with ceremony.
From distance you give some thoughts about her before deciding to ignore what's bothering you to the back of your mind -- or for Kuma to bother you about in later date.
Through you probably should have been more concern about that person when you give her the haft done doll, the sixth doll. Kanata said you only need to make 5 dolls but he doesn't said you cannot help with the rest >:3.
You felt very proud of yourself for a moment as shu give you a yard stare as your being a nutjob smiling at nothing.
"dearest dollmaker do you wanna see a magic~" Wataru appear beside you and take out set of playing cards and shuffle it. "come pick one up." He smiles.
"okiii..." You pick one card and it turn into a ( favorite flower ) " oh! Wow." You were amaze. "Amazing~!" You can't help be impress by it.
"e-excuse me.... Have you guys seen kanata-san..." Mayoi ask as he come into the room.
"He went out with rei earlier...." Shu says as he finish designing the outfit in the paper. He look at you who was doodling in your paper after you work on the 6th doll, notice how food your artistic skill is than he is currently. He suddenly don't want to show his design.
"what's wrong shu?" You notice his look his giving you and he cover the design he made. "It's nothing." He rolled his eyes and refuse to talk more about it.
"shuu probably shy to show his work to you, the von of artist!" Wataru quickly throw shu under the bus. "Shut it, you clown!" shu glared at Wataru who just chuckle at shu shyness.
"lets see!" You quickly went to peak the outfit and saw a beautiful traditional outfit for spring viewing. "What a beautiful dress." You compliment.
"Hmmp. I'm going to make it so it's not going to stay as such." Shuu boosted. "Oh?! " Your eyes widen. "Can I help you with it?"
"hmm..." Shu give you a side glance before he gets some measuring tape. "Yes." Now he doesn't need to embarrassingly ask you for measurements!
You happily help shu with him inquiring your measurements. While doing so Wataru and mayoi ( force by Wataru) join in with the dress making and shu soon made design for others as well.
But it's a win win for him. A uniform design outfit with everyone for this spring viewing. He even decided to make one for the house owner and the lady of the house. He would not make one for the outsider (the husband who you aren't close with either, he hated u for some reason.)
"oh.... That's right." You remember something, Kanata said you have to leave soon. You don't tell anyone about that matter. You look at everyone who's fitting on the outfit except for Kanata who still don't return yet with rei.
His been gone for a week now. You were worried but one of his insane followers send his letter to you that he be back after he fix something.
"what?" Shuu look at you in wonder. "I'll be leaving soon." You nonchalantly says which made everyone pause and look at you in shock. "What do you mean leaving..."
Where are you going?
Are you abandoning us?
Someone like you have a home to return to? Amazing!
There's many questions in everyone's mind but they can't ask more as everyone is fitted in their spring viewing outfit made by shuu, the door slam open revealing rei who's soaked and drench from top to button. He have a panic in his face. But he quickly mask it.
"hey everyone ~" he smile as he hide the problem. "What are you up to for days Sakuma?"
"nothing ~" rei went toward you and reach out to held your hand to see something, but Kuma narrowed his eyes and control the hand he reach out to held and slap it away.
"Oh so his really right... " Instead of being mad, rei laugh and smile. "What I'm tarnation are you on now?" Shuu unconsciously shield you from Sakuma as the other is being weird and off right now.
"it's nothing itsuki~ Kanata just told me something earlier." Rei chuckle as mayoi give him a towel to dry himself with.
You look outside at the sudden bad weather. You walk toward the hallway leading to the garden when rei grab hold of you before you can step outfit. "Deary don't go out for a moment, ok?" He smile as if hiding something.
You look at him and the bad weather outside. You thought about it. "...." Your hand was going to unconsciously force him by his thread to tell him what happened when you snap out of it by the last second by hearing Wataru calling out for you. Clearly noticing how your eyes seems lifeless for a moment while reaching out for rei.
"oh my are you going to preform a magic trick?" Wataru but in and you unconsciously thought of how to pretend it was the case even so you don't understand why you even think of forcing rei to tell you what's up, by the help of Kuma suddenly there's a black rose in your hand when you reach for his ears.
"Yup." You Lied as you give rei the flower that transform into black butterflies around you all. "Magic~" you smile, amaze at the trick that Kuma can do.
You wonder if you manage to change people thought for a moment as you give a side glance outside again as the rain began to pour heavily

"your so funny Kanata! Ahahahahaa...." You laugh as you slap his back. He was confuse to why your laughing but since your laughing it most be really funny. He will laugh with you too~
"oh really? Ahaha. It is then~" his dollmaker sure is unique. He don't think you have some unique humor on you to think something like that to be funny.
Through he thinks it's probably cause your from a different world than him. Hmm. He will learn to understand your humor to be more connected with you.
"Hey, inelegant dollmaker we finally found you." Not far from you two you heard someone called out. You look up and saw three people. Shuu, Rei and mayoi all come to look for you two since you been out for a while.
"ah don't be such a mean spirit shuu~" rei chuckle as turn into black matter and then in split of second where he was standing in few yard from you two his standing already beside you. Holding your hand and giving it a soft kiss.
"You made us worry I thought you eloped with Kanata~" he jested giving you and Kanata a teasing look.
"stop doing that! Some nitwit people doesn't know the unknown beings like us and will burn us like witches." Shu said after he was carried by Mayoi who can only chuckle as he put down shuu who most gotten tired mentally by raining around.
"Thank you Ayase. At least someone from us is helpful." He smile at mayoi but then cross his arms at you, rei and Kanata. "You all act like children." He sigh.
"ehhh but we usually walk here so it's normal you know?" You tried to reason out but shuu pulled your ears and you crocodile cry pitifully "waaaaaa I'm being bullied!" You cried falsely.
"Shut your trap." Shuu rolled his eyes as he let go of your ears and look at it as his slightly worried if he over did it and you give you a teasing look earning a inked annoyance. "Don't even start it." He already can see how your going to tease him too.
"I wasn't ." You lied. He give you a look that don't believe you at all. You nervously laugh as you try to act you aren't guilty of any crime.
Moments like those names you forget about things outside your little bubble. Time seems to flow fast to those around you. Many things stay the same but some have change.
Like for one it seems that the little miss have move on from you and is getting married soon. Hallelujah!
Or the fact Kanata said you have to go back to you own time period as you made your last doll, Wataru.
"my dollmaker the time is almost up... we have to say good bye soon." Kanata says out of the blue as he watch fireworks with you.
He have a sad smile in his face. "You were so silly and reckless... You forgotten there's consequences of making those dolls." He pats your head.
"But it's probably my fault your forgetfulness become such burden." He sigh. "Being forgetful is normal, Kanata." You laugh as you find it silly that his taken the blame for that.
"Well... For you to be here I have to lend-- no I decided to give it since it's pointless to me now, so you have something of a value to surface as your 'soul' or something along the line." He stared at the beautiful night sky.
"what's that?" Your worried it's probably something very important and priceless what if you break it :'((
"... My dollmaker do you wanna hear a story?" Instead of answering, he change the topic.
"... Ok." You wonder what type of story his going to tell. "There once a world so beautiful. There's three part of the world. The heaven, earth and netherworld. "He began. "There's no major war or conflict but nothing last as it was destroyed one day." He seems to be really bad at telling story since he don't sugar coat it.
"ehh. That's it?" That's a very short story.
"hmm well there's also stuff like dragon pearls, dragon cub that get lost and mistaken to be something else. Or flower turning into fox. Which one do you wanna hear about?" -kanata.
"probably the dragon pearls :3" you choice the first one since it's the first option. All stories seems all so interesting. Kanata seems to only want to tell one at the moment.
"a dragon pearl can control the weather, grant wishes and give longevity. As well many other things." He seems to think about something. "It's an important treasure. Without it, the dragon will be unable to ascend to the heaven and nirvana."
"oh so if you steal it, youll force the dragon to stay in land like Steelie." You look at Kanata and thought about it.
"was it the case for you? But the dragon doesn't have a heaven to ascend to. So the pearl is so useless to him now." His green eyes stared at you with warmth and care with your image reflected in his eyes.
"...." Are you the dragon, Kanata ? You wanted to ask him but decided not to. Kuma want to complain cause your being based and uncaring about the consequences of your actions again.
'but if he don't want to say yet who am I force it? Kuma please don't tell anyone... I'll return what he lend me one day. Since I'll go back to where I was before, it won't be needed anymore.'
[ I cannot forgive you if you die cause of something stupid mc.] Kuma really cannot handle another lose again. There's so many things that happened around you and those years that made him wonder if things lead this way cause you love doll so much.

Kanata did calm down as well the rain did. He slept in your arms as mayoi was singing to calm him down.
Kuma really want to say something but decided he would say it when your not busy calming that big baby.
Honestly he have notice so many weird things about that Kanata. First was saying his journey outside this world is "seeing things" to him. Usually... People would react differently. Yet when he remembers why his here was because of the future-present of Kanata.
He heard that Kanata and Mayoi have an argument. Leading Kanata to take away the DD body and he already have your unconscious soul with him. Yet why does he need to force him to travel time to seek where you are???
Kuma felt headache when he think too much about it. It's all bloody complicated!
He takes a deep breath before he plan what he will do next if things come out of hand.
...
Kanata seems to only have the reaction to Mayoi since the next year after that you made two more DD with the two of them.
The doll Rei and Shu. Who's seems close with Kanata out of the bat. Kuma seems offended by the presence of Rei but through the link said otherwise.
"ah... Because rei and ritsu are brothers..." Kanata explain to you as the two of you takes a walk around the beach that his cult follower have brought for him.
It's been years already instead of those cult being nom hype to his so called godly image they all went more delulu instead.
"They are?" You tilt your head. "Hmm. At least... That's what's the usual [canon] event. Through the other ritsu is not the current ritsu..."
You were even more confuse by his statement. Not understanding what's canon and what's not.
"my dollmaker looks so silly when confuse." He bloop your nose with a chuckle. "I would tell you anything but your not the type that dwell in such matter."
[ ... ASK HIM ASK HIM! ] Kuma began to demand in your mind, he already feed up with Kanata stuff.
You thought of something you heard from him before. < Do you love Kanata or me > or something close to that. it's from years back yet it did stick around when you heard it.
"..." You look at Kanata. "Do you mean destiny by canon?" Your just guessing. "Hmm... I guess so, in some way it is. " He nodded his head.
"Other ritsu seems to want me to ask me so many things.... But I don't entertain question from other people but my dollmaker." He said in a sing a song while looking deep inside of you. Looking straight at ritsu red orbs.
"if Kuma is other ritsu. Are you perhaps someone else?" You stared at his green orbs "will you tell me your name so I can call you right... And what happened to Kanata?" You don't show aggression or hate to him.
He stared at you in silent. Before he smiles and hold your hands. "My dollmaker... " He seems to be in deep thought. You earnestly look at him waiting. Even Kuma is in the edge.
"I don't know..." He finally said as he sigh. "I don't think I can use my old one." He chuckle at your reaction. Far from distance he stared at the flowers, the sea and the sky.
MC: "Old one?"
"hmm... "
MC: " What's that?"
"I don't think you can understand it."
MC: "are you underestimating me?" You felt challenge. It's not that impossible --
"it's < ***** > ."
MC:"huh."(⊙_◎) who can only hear a BEEP BEEP
"it's < *****> ???? Can't you understand that?" He tilt his head in wonder.
MC: "........no?"
"ah it's probably cause it's a foreign word from another world. It's ok. If you can't understand it then that's fine too. I don't need to use that label now. Since Canon name is still Kanata Shinkai either way." He bloop your nose and think how cute and silly you are at the moment.
"I will understand your name one day! Hmmp!" You cross your arms. Taking this as a challenge. but then remember something. " Are you another Kanata if so... What happened to the one that supposed to be here?"
"oh. I eat his soul." He smiles as if he answer something about the weather while he pick up some shell in the sand.
".........." WTF. You and Kuma cannot help but want to back away even if it's a joke... which you hope it is.

"hey can I ask you how you found that dimwit?" The visitor, Aice the owner of the house who's looking at his pond-- aobara Tojou
"Oh... do you mean that forgetful child?" Old tojou laughs as he realize who Aice was asking about.
"obviously." Aice rolled his eyes but then cross his arm when he remembers something.
"This place shouldn't have something like that, especially in this world." He rub his temple when he think about how complicated it seems.
"ou... Well it's been years ago but I'm very proud of my memories. That child is found by those little fluffs ya know~" he remembers that many of his fluffy buddies all tries to get his attention that day to point him in a danger zone on the area.
Where all the spooky stuff happens. He found you accompany by....... Isn't it one of the fluffy thing? Ah... Was he remembering it wrongly...?
"huh.... I seems to forget something." He can't remember who it was but that day.
...
FEW YEARS AGO: THE MOMENT YOU ARRIVE IN THIS TIME PERIOD.
"come on little fellow! It's dangerous here!" The young blue haired was puzzle when his fluffy friends are pushing him to one direction, they all seems to be worried and in frantic moment.
He sigh as he follow through, soon he found himself in an old mansion that' he never seen before.
The sky that was clouded earlier begone to darken as storm seems to began. Rain pours out droplets upon the land as if the heaven is crying.
"What the..." He was about to question what's this mansion doin in this place now but he was push inside until he found himself in the darkness where there's only those fluffy guiding him. And the fact the rain is getting heavy.

Drip drop he found himself stepping on top of a water, on a glowing clear water that's seems to be so deep like the abyss yet he never went into it.
The a beautiful voice of someone singing somewhere in front of him made the water ripples and vibrate. As if something magical is happening, something that shouldn't be seen by just anyone.
"...this is so crazy..." he mumbles, he already want to leave this place but it seems that when he turn around there's no path behind him but just a wall of water in cage him, there's no way out but to go on.

The voice echoes again but this time it's much more closer, that's when he found someone glowing holding a glowing ball that barely gasping. Water ripples around him like a wings made of clear water.
Ao vividly remember seeing horns that's remind him of one that mystical creature of Chinese have. Those long Dragons embed with beautiful gems. Fits for a royal and divine.
"oh my kami...." Ao cannot help but gasp when he felt his legs give in as if his in a presence of a being that he shouldn't lay his eyes on.
He fallen on his knees, he cannot meet the eyes of the stranger nor remember it. But the soft smile that seems welcoming... Like the sweet embrace of abyss and death.
Are you perhaps the friend the souls brought to help me?
He heard the voice of the stranger, each tone made his ears ring and almost felt it bleeding.
His whole body sakes, dread and uncertain terrible fear in the unknown being in front of him, makes him want to flee, to run away from this lovestruck creature.
Ah.... It seems your too feeble and fragile... Like the people of this world..... I'm sorry I don't mean to harm you....
He hears footsteps yet he cannot look up. Then someone pat his head like his being praise.
Thank you for coming here. I'm sorry to ask you this but can you take care of someone for me...? In my current state I cannot do more than this... Or else the overseer will find me here.
The person says to him before something blinded happened. When he open his eyes. He thought everything was a weird imagination. He look at the sidewalk and saw you sleeping on the ground with a blue with greenish tint fluff hovering over you.
The sun shine behind the clouds, the rain have stopped yet he doesn't know if the thing he saw was made off his mind but he taken you home and things seems to become lovely than ever.

"what?" Aice look at Ao who was silent for a moment.
"Ah I was remembering a crazy dream ya know? It's odd I still remember it now. But I felt I seems god or whatnot. How odd." Ao laughs as he think how silly such dream it was..
