Jade's reaction to everything is probably my favorite part about the finale. Don't want to throw spoilers yet since its only a been a day, but just her response to literally all the things that happen in this episode. She's the best.
best jade moment, other than "okay, this conversation is over" is the long up-down look she gives kit in her new armor. very mmhmm that's my girlfriend

A time and events chart since about A Kind of Magic because like I said I like establishing years in fiction
Tom is 10, but there is his birthday in season 2 so he might turn 11
Cindy is 14
Gregor is 40, so there are high chances his wife Willow is too
Ussually in fairies powers manifest themselves at puberty, it was the case for Willow and Ferocia and it was also for Cindy ; they also thought it was the case for Tom despite being 10 so it is not impossible but rare that it can happen to fairy kids if they are prodigees or just precocious in puberty
Ferocia is older than Willow, but not too much since they both gained their powers around the same time when they both were teenagers so maybe one or 2 years gap (and adding to that she celebrates her birthday in season 1 and since it was October it means that in the Halloween episode of season 2 it was celebrated again, so she might have started as 40 or 41 of the show)
Edwin is Ferocia and Willow's big brother, and he has visible wrinkles unlike them, furthermore Cindy and Tom, who is often compared to Willow in several episodes to the point it's implied he will have her powers and wings at the same age she did, compare themselves to the sibling relationship between Willow and Edwin, so perhaps like for them there is a 4 years gap either, between him and her or him and Ferocia so he may be 44 or 45
Willow and Gregor married 20 years ago therefore when Gregor (and possibly Willow) were 20, but Cindy being only 14 it means they had her at 26
Which means they either married very quickly or they met at 18 or 19 since they were already adults when they met but we saw adult Willow had the time to date or flirt with other guys before meeting him
Miss Tinker is 20, but already a teacher. She had to be very precocious in her studies then
Cinderella is around the same age as Cindy to the point she can enter her junior highschool's party with no problem, but still gets married in the end of her tale, and she doesn't look different in the picture where she and the prince got a lot of kids. Meaning that in Fairyland teenagers can marry, and given the Prince looks older (he could be just an older-looking teenager, sure but still)... yikes. Also sure the kids could have had happened years later and she just didn't change literally, but there still was marriage before
Dji is 1001 years old. So genies either live very long or are immortal
Willow and Ferocia's grandfather is very old but still alive, and seems to be that kind of wise old wizard who either lives forever or very long
Which has one wonder how long fairies live. Is Willow indeed 40 (and Ferocia and Edwin) or is she immortal or at least has lived for very long and that's why she and Ferocia still looks the same as they did 20 years earlier and same for their parents who look as old as they do now ? Will she and Ferocia outlive Gregor ? The children too, or the fairies part will have them live for very long even if for now they grow normally ? Will Gregor and ogres in general live very long too since after all even his parents looked the same 20 years ago or is it just design facilities ?
Plus Edwin is the Sandman. THE Sandman. Even if his role is different from common folklore and pieces of media (here in that show you don't need him to sleep, he just puts you to sleep to rob you or pretends his sand is expensive fairy dust to scam you), it's still a folklore character who can't just be 50 years old. Mayne he's been living for centuries like his sisters if they did too ?
Speaking of which, Fairyland seems to be timeless. Fairytale leads like Cinderella seem to live over and over their tales (even if they can be changed), and it seems there are very very old characters like Willow's grandfather or Dji (even if he physically only looks middle aged) and folklore characters (Edwin and Santa Claus). So maybe it's a dimension that doesn't know time, so either everyone stops aging at some point because nobody must die in fairytales or legends if these tell they can't and also OR it's a dimension where everybody from different time periods see each other OR it depends of roles (you don't live your tale over and over again if yoy are not a fairytale character, like our main characters) and species (maybe ogres live as long as non-role humans and fairies and genies live very long) ? Maybe you truly start aging normally if you stay in the real world ?
