One time they were in combat and Corren took a few hits and was down to about 2hp or so. He had a temporary level thanks to Kieran, which boosted his HP a little bit. When he teleported them to a safe town, though, well... Torvid was waiting for them so that's cool. But uh. Yeah that temporary level wore off then and there, dropping Corn Cob to exactly 0hp and he just- flopped down face first in the snow and started dying then and there KJNDKLFNSLKN

Do you want to talk about the scar over his eye from a fight he got in with his dad or like. The scars on his limbs from the time he was literally experimented on.

SO! Imma talk more about Flame Out... More coherently this time. XDb

Yeah, I like... re-read my original post and realized a bunch of my typing wasn’t even really readable... in my defense, it was 4am and I was on a rather old and slow tablet. XDDD

Oops.

ANYHOO. Let’s try this again. :D With caps and stuff this time. 8Db

I am still all GOSH THIS EPISODE. And still all super OMG SEE? I KNEW IT. I said Virgil was a giant, lovable, cute, dork. So adorkable, my gosh. (I also have never really gone into detail, but I kinda headcanoned Virgil could get shy and stuff around like girls he likes and such. I never spoke much of it since I didn’t really have much in the way of evidence WHY I thought he might act that way... WELL. THANK YOU, EPISODE. I feel like this really could be a thing now. XDDD)

Boy, his brothers must not have paid any attention ever to his bookshelves if he has books and even an action figure of Kip. XDa

So, of course, I’m wondering when/how Virgil found out about Kip. Did Kip know Jeff? Seemed like it, given him noting Virgil looked like their Dad (Which I’m like OMG YES, to. People say Scott looks like Jeff, but my gosh, look at Virgil and Jeff in TOS. There is even more resemblance there, eyebrows, set of the eyes, nose, cheeks (chin and dimples are then more what Scott got.) Gosh, I can’t wait to see what TAG! Jeff will look like.) in a way that seemed more than just knowing a little about Jeff to feel Virgil was ‘a chip off the old block.’ (Man, this ep was so chock full of oldish and very American sayings. XD)

Did Jeff introduce Virgil to the guy’s existence? =Oa

BUT yeah, as I tried to type, but mangled... It’s exciting and interesting that it seems like Virgil had influence on him doing what he does well beyond simply his father. Obviously Kip was a huge one! And someone who does more what Virgil does than what, from what we can tell, Jeff probably did. Jeff’s about technology and space, but Virgil is definitely more mechanical, engineering and stuff like fires and explosives etc. *chinhands*

Man, it could potentially even fit together nicely... If it was even older teen Virgil who found out about him... if he still went to college in Denver... I mean, Colorado is still VERY the westerny. (I lived an hour south of Denver for 7 years. XD So, yeah. XD) LMao Maybe that’s where he got the action figure. XDa Man, I wonder where Kip was meant to be from... it was definitely a southern accent---don’t think quite Texas... at least, not some parts of it. (...Oh, his actor was a UK one. GOSH. I wouldn’t have guessed THAT. XD Same person who’s played the balloon Dad and Dr. Peck XD)

Poor Virg. YOU KNOW, this might be the first time a note about Virgil that was in the annual might’ve actually sorta been a thing. =Oa It said sometimes he forgot his own strength... We’ve really never seen it used in any way, making it seem like a bit of out-of-date marketing. (Especially since being an artist and piano player, Virg is pretty good at being gentle. ^.^) But a distracted Virgil can seemingly cause some problems lolol

Gosh, I laugh at Gordon’s line still all ‘I’m not messing with them, they’re messing with me!’ lolol

And Virgil finally pulls himself together. \o/

I just really like how Kip’s leaning on TB2′s dash there to look out the windshield.

...I also really like how Kip’s stubble looks...

Like, gosh, this season so far has had some really nice new character models.

AND THEN KIP JUST PULLS OUT SOME OLD SCHOOL TNT. lmaoooo

Remember, Virg is their demolition specialist... he uses explosives, but he doesn’t just carry around random sticks of TNT. lolol AND they just kinda ran away from a HUGE explosion and gas. And. Kip had this. On him.

You can really feel the weight and all the motion has such nice follow through and stuff. Just. Hrrrg. It’s good guys.

I’m on the fence about who it is, except no, I REALLY don’t think it’s Kyrano. It’s all in the accents... Kayo and the Hood are decidedly from the UK so I rather doubt Kyrano would have a decidedly American one. lol That just would seem... odd. Part of me is wondering if it’s Jeff, but obviously it’s a bit... not rich enough to seem quite like Jeff, although it is pretty heavily radio distorted, but still. Erf. It also might be a bit TOO accented compared to the boys... ANYHOO, I guess we’ll see, anyways.

SO YEAH. Uh. tl;dr? I LIKED THIS EP A LOT AND VIRG IS ADORBS. 8Db

what makes your muse happiest? talking to his baby brother over facetime/texts/etc. what upsets them the most? being in a place he is still a bit unaccustomed and unknown to does your muse have any quirks? uhm, i don’t think he has any weird quirks, besides his tendency to go out at 1 or 2 am and walk the city when it’s cold. what are their hobbies? how frequent do/can they do them? he loves to write, obviously! and i can imagine taeil likes to do word puzzles, like crosswords and word searches, and maybe he likes to draw a little and probably read the newspaper? because of his ‘create your own work schedule’ deal, he actually gets to do most of things he enjoys a lot. do they have any guilty pleasures? things/people who smell like flowers, indie/acoustic music, beautifully written poetry. is your muse an extrovert? an introvert? neither? introverted for sure, although he can be open depending on his relationship with you. do they have high or low self-esteem? what about confidence? uhm, i would say taeil is in between for both? he is very emotionally distraught at the moment because he is in a place he is uncomfortable with and he still misses home, but he has high hopes for his dreams and himself. he knows he’s a decent guy. are they easily stressed? how do they respond to stress? taeil is not easily stressed due to the fact that he is constantly under pressure for his books. he has learned to deal with it by taking time off from what is stressing him and doing things he knows will make him happy. what is your muses worst fear? that he won’t ever see his family again, probably. what is your muses biggest dream? to be a best selling author! but also to provide for his family and loved ones with the royalties he makes. is your muse an early riser? a night owl? a night owl for sure. how intelligent is your muse? do they acknowledge it? uh, he’s probably fairly smart? not book smart though, but probably more in the.. he knows random facts and about the subject he is writing about smart. what is their sense of humour like? uhm.. probably nonexistent OTL he has his moments though ok

VERY important. are they close to their family? why or why not ? yes! taeil’s parents ( specifically his mom ) have always accepted him for who he is. his brother was always a key role in his life, too, and he always protect his baby brother with everything he had. his family is what keps him going every day.

001. you know those people who are creative in every single fuckin’ way? that’s taeil, but he won’t admit it. 002. as you saw above, he writes with both hands, but he is better with his right. 003. at least twice a week, he has the same dream about going back home and when he wakes up to see it’s not true he gets kinda sad? 004. while most of his stories are on a computer and typed out, he has one or two that he hand writes just for the hell of it. one of these stories is about his baby brother. 005. every other day he calls his family to check in on them, specifically his baby brother. 006. anyone who knows taeil well would easily be able to tell how homesick he is. 007. his favorite genre to write about is modern realistic. his favorite genre to read is probably modern fantasy or crime novels. 008. he doesn’t watch a lot of television. 009. nature muses taeil the most out of everything; other things that muse him are music, other people, his surroundings, flowers ( specifically ), weather, etc. i think all the BASIC things. 010. he never holds grudges and is easy to forgive. you could toy with him and he would still be your friend. he’s a doormat, basically. 011. his favorite season is fall, his favorite weather is when it sprinkles and is chilly, his favorite time of day is sunrise, and his favorite day of the week is Monday.

Home on the Range Thoughts... A LOT of them. XD

Oh my word. We learned a lot this episode... and yet still learned so little or had so many more questions thrown into the table. XD Oy vey. Also MOM REFERENCES OH WOW. Was even more than kinda had hoped for even, since was a double reference no less.

SO. Let's break this down. XD

- Where is the ranch? NO IDEA. Nothing to give a hint was given, except for mention of coyotes ...so... mid-west. ...Aka what we already figured. lol

- The ranch came from their Mother's side of the family. \o\ (And as bro pointed out... past tense. ;A; BelongED. No shock though... really as expected there. XD)

(Also...

(PRACTICALLY CALLED IT. \o/)

- They visit every year.

- I couldn’t pick up any indication if they actually had actually fully lived there at any point.

- Side note... WHERE IS THE REST OF THE GROUND FLOOR? No really, unless there's a door hiding behind the double front doors.... there's only that room, then stairs. There was no other doorway in that room. looooooooool Someone kinda missed that detail. XD

- Clearly have memories of it though going back... as they speak about their Mom (!!!!) having taken them horseback riding. (Also SQUEE that it was Virgil who brought it up. ;A;)

- However, Alan has nothing to add, presumably because he can't remember/was too young? That's what feels implied.

Which leads into something that confused me a titch with it's wording...

- Kayo understands and Alan says... the confusing thing. "Oh yeah, right, you were away at school most of that time too, weren'tcha?"

(This... sorta implies "you were at school like I was" ...but why...would they all be having memories of that place but Alan was left out? Whu? But that REALLY doesn't make sense to me... they wouldn't all go on a trip with their family without him. lol So I'm guessing it's more meant to read "oh, right, you weren't around then too" and the school bit is in there for our information and they kinda missed how it made it come across. lol)

Other things!

- VIRGIL AND SCOTT THERE AT THE START. Oh gosh. HE LET GO, so Scott could grab on. a;soijdasda Oh gosh Virg a;soidjas

- a;sjdsaoidads VIRGIL IS DRAWING. Pretty darn sure he was drawing from the movements you can see in the end scene in particular... it's very circular and goes from lower page to upper, in pretty smooth motions, using his whole arm, which is very a artist thing. It's not writing movement at all.

- ...Virgil is drawing with his left hand?! TOS Virgil painted with his left hand in Atlantic Inferno, but was right in Move and You're Dead... prolly was just a error but. lol Even Wikis notes this, saying it suggests he's ambidextrous... at least somewhat. XD

WELL...

SEEMS LEGIT. Cause that's a lot of right hand use there. Nosing a bit more... Breakdown you see like... he takes the bagel with his left, but goes to shake hands with his right. And Volcano he rings the bell with left... Recharge takes the grapple gun and fires it with his right... Yeah... looking ambi alright. XD ANYHOO.

Also a;soijda Alan seemed to be watching him for a moment at the end there? Hee ^__^

- MEANWHILE... I noticed Scott used his left to steer his hover bike and hold the Kat's hand. XDa Man, gonna have to go back through eps now and watch more for this hahaha.

- Speaking of, him holding Kat's hand was really sweet, gosh. ;A;

- Also speaking of Kat Cavanaugh ...I was sorta, man why did they use THAT model again... then I realized. Go watch the start of Falling Skies again. The reporter in that? KAT CAVANOUGH. SHE RETURNED. Another clever return of a old semi-background character like in Man from TB5 with what Bernard Bottomsley. XD

- Lol Parker is really good at accidentally stumbling onto things, isn't he? XD

- I'm kinda sad didn't get to see the boys all sitting in TB2... What's the copilot pecking order??? John? Gordo? or Alan? WHO? Well, prolly would be Gordon, but... It shall remain a mystery for now.

- What is certain is... the height pecking order we thought things appeared to be is correct... John is a bit taller than Virg, but a bit shorter than Scott. XD

- No one. NO ONE, facepalms like Scott does. XD (I really want a Virg one without a helmet gosh XD)

- MAX <3 <3 <3 <3 I love him. SO MUCH. Gosh, him going for that mecha. HAhahaa XD

- Only problem with checking the radio times info is seeing who's VAing who, so oops, Mechanic was no surprise. XD

- GO EOS!!1!!! Gosh, she was awesome in this. =D I believe she disconnected the Mechanic's connection there to his mechanical beast. You see him throw his arm out like did earlier to make the scorpian do something and.. it didn't. And you see Max look down, as if watching to see if it'll move.. then nothing. (So he rips it's head off. :D GOOD STUFF, MAX. :Db)

- And OH GOSH. How about that for character development... Kayo asks if should follow and then LISTENS to common sense. :D

- OH MY GOSH, Alan and Gordon actually squabbling a bit. XD Troublesome Two indeed. XD lol YEAAAAAAAAH... I think that just definitively just confirmed they're the youngest alright. And I sense adlibbing at the end there. XD

- OR MAYBE NOT quite so adlibbed. Oh gosh! CAUSE LIKE. Kayo and Alan's convo earlier triggered John talking about where a photo was of Gordon on a horse backwards? Then Virgil was sitting there while Kayo and Alan had their convo so prolly overheard it to some extent. And Kayo was saying we'll make our own memories here.

SO then we have Kayo asking someone to take a photo (of Gordo and Alan I assume XD) and Virgil obliging all "Camera's rolling... We're making memories, Alan! Hold still." Hahahaa What dorks. XD

LASTLY...

TRACY LOUNGE PIANO MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! a;soidjsaoa asjdaso a;osjda If you don’t know this, go youtube that title. Right there. It was in Trapped in the Sky! At the end. Virgil played it. :D I was SO hoping to hear this sometime in the series... I'm just sad it wasn't Virgil playing it. XDDD If it was actually meant to be playing in the house and not just background soundtrack, I bet he was one who chose it though. hahahaa X3a Although it's not got the middle bit, but prolly couldn't have fit the whole piece in that scene so.

I THINK THAT’S IT.

Heights confirmed for sure now... and about what I thought... John might not be older than Virg, but he’s definitely taller.

GOSH a;osijda ALL STANDING WITH EACH OTHER (....Brains... were... you always taller than Gordo? Something seems... ... weird?? o.Oa ANYHOO.)

ALSO did I mention John teasing Gordon over the horse thing was adorbs and awesome? IT WAS. I liked that exchange so much.
