Okay but you mentioned Nico/Toto in the maxnico au so what if Nico went on a date with Toto during the pregnancy? He鈥檚 feeling insecure because the bump is getting big and he can鈥檛 wear heels like he usually would, but max helps him get ready, telling him he鈥檚 so beautiful and Toto鈥檚 the luckiest man in the world. He鈥檇 stay up playing video games waiting for Nico to get back home so he knows he鈥檚 safe and just lets Nico babble about how amazing the date whilst they munch on a pizza that Nico brought back for Max (and then ate most of it himself because pregnancy is making him so hungry lol)

Max gently urging nico to go on the date when Nico is just unsure and self concious. It was toto who asked Nico out and Max trusts him to treat Nico right! Max helping Nico get ready, reassuring him he is gorgeous and he looks so pretty in his dress with the little bump on show! Max and Toto shaking hands and Max kissing Nico softly before letting them go and ofcourse he stays up to wait for Nico!
Nico having such a good.time with Toto being so sweet and respectful and complimenting the Omega like crazy 馃槶馃槶 Nico would be so giddy when he gets back home (definitely sharing an eager kiss with Toto before he went back in) and cuddle into Max's side while.munching on most of the pizza he brought and just rambling away at Max. Max not even caring Nico smells like Toto, he is just happy Nico is happy and that he had a good night! Max helping Nico get changed into more cozy clothing and smiling when Nico asks to cuddle and plss Max softly kissing the bump before kissing Nico and whispering he is so happy for him!馃槶
Also Nico trying to set Max up on dates with Omegas but Max keeps declining? Eventually he admits to only being into Alphas is really shy about itnbut nico instantly sets him up with Alpha dan or Charles, cursing himself for not noticing how obvious Max's crush is!

omega rosberg being pregnant and worrying cause he thinks max is going to be too busy partying and playing video games to care for his pregnancy and the pup ! And while he鈥檚 happy to be pregnant he thinks he鈥檚 not gonna get any domesticity with max鈥xcept max get 10000% into his role as a future father and while he still behaves like a young 23 yearsold, he鈥檚 also very attentive and everything he does screams 芦聽first time dad who want to do well聽禄 like the morning after Nico told him he was a pregnant, nico wakes up alone and finds max cleaning a room to already make space for the nursery ! And he orders way too many thing online for the baby
Oh pllss! Nico going to Max and telling him he is pregnant and just having a little breakdown cos well, he is so happy eith the pup but he is just worried about Max's reaction and coparenting. Max just fussingnover him and giddy with excitement over the pup and Nico is relieved, but still believes Max will eventually rather focus on videogames and other stuff.
And sure, max still does all his gaming stuff and goes out o party, but he is also so attentive to Nico! Barely a day after Nico told him, furniture and baby clothes are already arriving as well as stuff Max researched that can help pregnant Omegas. He takes care of Nico, cooking to the best of his abilities and sitting with Nico to soothe him when Nico has morning sickness. He even skips out on parties if Nico is stressed and hormonal and doesnt want to be alone 馃ズ
Also Max going to a party but not drinking too much but still coming home late, like 3 or 4am, and finding Nico still awake because he couldn't sleep without Max watching over him馃ズ

Idk why I thought this but I blame you for putting this concept in my head so I'm dumping this Maxnico blurb in your askbox and hoping you like it
You kind of assume you'd end up on your knees in the winner's room but this was NOT how Max had imagined it would go when Nico had picked him. It wasn't his first time here but it was still special because well it was Nico. There was something about being the championship leader that had given him this irresistible pull some sort of power Max had thought would spill on to him purely on the basis of proximity. Nico could have had anyone on the paddock on their knees begging for him to deign to fuck them even if the concept of the winner's room didn't exist but Nico had chosen Max of all people and for a glorious few minutes he had thought meant something, that Nico saw something special in him something that made him worth Nico's time, someone Nico could someday respect.
He was wrong. So wrong. And is there really a worse place to realize that then on his kness between a fully clothed Nico's legs on maybe his 6th attempt on convincing Nico to treat him like a grown up and do the winner's room the right way. He'd barely gotten his mouth near Nico's inner thigh before a rough hand in hsir had yanked him back so that he was looking straight into Nico's eyes. "Behave" was all Nico had said as if he was a misbehaving toddler and not a grand prix winner. He sat still on his knees since he could've moved Nico had told him could Nico had said go play video games but he'd stayed where he was and after a while Nico's punishing hand from earlier had returned to gently brush through Max's hair. Max hated how calming the repeated movement was. Max hated that he could see Nico reading Lewis's post race interview on the phone while Max was on his knees for him. A bitter childish part of him wanted to scream I'll be world champion someday, I'll beat your precious Lewis someday. Maybe then Nico would see him as an equal, maybe then Nico would love him, Maybe then Nico would realize that it's Max that deserves his attention. Max knew in that moment if he ever won the championship Nico's name would be the only thing on his lips.

Max joining Merc is just so delicious. He'd make Lewis' life hell before the 2017 season even starts with the insane amount of sim time he'll put in and Lewis now has to match him. He just came off losing the championship and now he has to compete with the *Niki Lauda voice* talent of the century. Also Max has so much self confidence and just does not Care(tm) like Nico did so?? His mind games won't work and he might win the WDC because Max isn't there yet at 19, but Lewis can see Max improving in real time. Is he supposed to befriend Max to break him before he starts to win too much? Like, maybe Max is just some guy and Lewis is out here trying to play him, but he ends up playing himself

Maxy got moxy. Maybe if it's justified he'll do it, but otherwise you just gotta pit-to-get-rid of Max, and even then I can imagine him accidentally undercutting Lewis because his out laps are mighty and I just think it would be very funny if it happens the first they try that. ...Actually, I imagine that happening for Max's first win in the Merc, to give him a treat. Different anon but about max nico if nico won the wdc in 2014 and max became his teammate after that. I don't think nico would get as riled up post winning I think he became so much more relaxed after winning the wdc it was his big goal and I think he would see any future wins as a bonus and would probably do really well in the mentor role. Idk if max would be able to consistently overtake in his first year tbh. I remember seeing a performance chart between max and Daniel where Daniel was doing better than max their first year as teammates but then it flipped in Max's favour from the next year onwards. I think it would be same with max and nico except nico has already achieved his dream so he is actively cheering Max on to achieve his dream as well.

as a self appointed nistorian (Nico historian) if we take nico's career into perspective, his Williams years was shit (he started going to therapy after that first year), while lewis won a WDC by 2008 in a mclaren merc. schumie was expected to lead merc but nico beat him consistently; that being said nico's first win came in 2012 in a merc! 6 years after his career started. he was primed to be merc top dog when schumie retired, and in came lewis 馃槶
the hybrid engine regulations massively favoured merc and its downforce, which is why merc's slay era was so SO big. it also came down to the fact that Nico, who was going from the occasional podium was now in a championship winning car and his teammate in his second year won a WDC for his team he'd been with since 2010. the merc era was so dominant there were races where it's Just Them and then third place is 30 seconds behind 馃槶 so while it is every driver's goal to win a WDC, nico probably wouldn't have pushed the way he did to prove himself like he did with lewis -- once again, he went against the greatest in the world in the same car and won. That's why he could let it (the title) go.
I think like jenson, nico could've been a more content one time WDC who kept on racing had his teammate been anyone other than Lewis (toto voice... shared history) but if it's maxy and by 2016 he's already challenging nico for the title I can sorta see Nico's calmer serene mentor persona faltering ala daniel 2018 cause it Does hit your self esteem that you're in the same car and he's Younger than you (the youngest prodigy!!!) and beating your ass, and he has none of that self doubt you do. Daniel softened a lot of Max's edges and they had a lot of fun together it would be interesting how Nico would fare in that situation.
