hey!! this is chance and here’s week 5’s prompt. your oc suddenly gets transported to a mall. what store(s) would they go in? would they buy anything? what would they think? tell me about the experience.

was gonna pick Marlowe cuz shes a mall-a-holic but to make it have more tension I feel Len would be a better pick

First off, theyd be scared out their mind. lmao. Being in big places without a friend or a escort are completely foreign to them, so being randomly transported with no one else would freak them out.

Theyd sit down for a while somewhere where not a lot of people can look at them, like behind some fancy plants or between those massage chairs some malls have. If they have their phone on them, they’ll probably immediately call a chauffeur and beg to go home. If they don’t, they may sit there for a while before mustering up some courage to go shop

They’ll go to any shop with cute things. A plushy shop, lolita clothing stores, anything soft and cutesy they’ll gladly spend money on. Maybe some food if they’re feeling risky enough to wander into the food courts. But mostly some light things like a pretzel or boba. All would be done without saying a word. Being there is embarrassing enough, so talking just makes it worse

Afterwards they would sit outside and wait for someone at home to notice they’re gone. If they haven’t already sent like three people to go look for them lmao.

I definitely do this!

One of the main examples is Lenora, whos a indirect self insert. Their music preferences, height, and personality for a the most part are based off of me irl. Also, many of my background ocs are based off of classmates or people I’ve met in public (examples: Lucian, Ruine, Xen, Maven)

hey this is chance and here’s week 4’s prompt. how do strangers within the world view your protagonists? how would they describe them? and how does this contrast against how the protagonist views themself?

AAA this is a question ive been personally working on!

Lenora

People see them as awkward or cold, as they don’t let many people get close enough to witness their true personality. Many think they don’t care about anyone or anything due to their lack of speech or participation in almost anything social. They just see them walking to where they need to go with a timid expression and accept that as their only personality trait.

Lenora themself thinks they’re fine with their current mannerisms. They don’t enjoy having to focus on too many people, so they don’t make an effort to. Besides, the people they really are close to are often their upmost priority.

Xen

Many who have seen Xen acknowledge him as calm and laid back person. He knows everyone, does almost everything, and is a hotspot for gossip. Others who have seen or faced the wrath of his pettiness, think he’s not as funny as he makes himself out to be.

He himself thinks very highly of himself. Xen believes most things he does are just, as he only wrongs when he has been wronged. He has always thought he's a form of life in parties, and a joy to be around. As long as he's respected, he'll be cool.

Marlowe

People who have heard of Marlowe for a while think of her as either still scary or redeemed. Often, old classmates or victims of the 'shining hits' think she's a ticking time bomb hidden behind a rainbow smile. Others see her as an energetic cutie with a love for everything.

Marlowe still thinks she can better herself somehow. No matter how nice she makes herself appear, she slips up from time to time. All she can think about is how her baby brother would feel about it. There’s always something she can do to be better, she thinks.

Ruine

It seems everyone knows Ruine, but few know Ruine, if that makes sense. He gets around, being acquainted with everyone at least once or twice. His calm nature makes those around him naturally drawn to him in a way.

Ruine himself doesn’t quite know what he feels about himself. He knows he helps others out a lot, and he has the ability to regulate others’ feelings somehow. But other than that, Ruine just sees himself as… Ruine. Maybe it’s just something at the back of his head that makes him feel that way…
