thank you forum user from 2007 for solving my specific issue. My partner R just lend me their Mamiya RB67 PS and it was going all well and sexy until I couldn't cock the shutter anymore. Since the camera is fully mechanical and modular I took it apart a couple times but nothing worked! turned out it was two small pins in the rotating slot mechanism that were not fully extended and therefore not making contact with the film back that would allow the full shutter release
