Today was an ideas day as I had a really bad nights sleep thanks to some loud neighbours, so I did some ideas starting with Awakened/Angel Asuka from Thrice (i just really want an excuse to draw some wild hair for her) so that’s looking good. Next was some more Asuka x Mari, not sure I will finish this one as it’s heavily referenced from a doujinshi I found, but it’s a nice idea. And lastly I did a poll on Twitter for some crossover ideas and the first is Makoto in Rei’s black plug suit. This ones looking good so far but I might have a look at some different poses before finishing…

I’m working on Shadow Rise so here’s a quick warm up sketch of Makoto Akira because…why not? I’m not great at muscles and I’ve never drawn Akira before so this is a good first try. This took an hour with no reference pose…

Is Citrus and action Manga? Ann getting Makoto into some more…interesting manga books. It’s the weekend so that means comics, I have a few Persona 5 ideas, some more Evangelion, RWBY and a Genshin Impact one, but they’ll be spaced out over the next few weekends. Are you ready for the Instrumentality…of JUSTICE! Only the one sketch today, tried another pose with Makoto in Rei’s plug suit and it ended up taking way WAY longer then I planned (‘nearly 3 hours just on this) probably not helped but not using a pose reference (‘I started using one then scrapped it almost straight away) not sure on a lot here, her head, eyes and hair I’m really not completely satisfied with…what do you think? Yay or Nay?

Makoto needs a hand with the sunscreen. Not sure I'm as comfortable as I could be with the suggestive nature of this one, but I am very happy with Smug looking Makoto. I have some more ideas I'd like to try with her and Ann, but I also did some doodling of best teacher so we'll see...

Shadow Makoto is done. Got the pose from a bodies sketchs reference and the idea from the other Shadow Makoto i did, and I'm very happy with how she finished!

Still have some more Persona ideas while I play through Strikers, like Kawakami in Mai's KoF outfit, maybe even in Anns, but also want to do some other ideas, like my OCs, Rei, more Genshin and going back to some older drawings and redoing them...

Makoto is the one Phantom Thief you do NOT want to piss off! This was just a warm up sketch that turned into something really cool, I've been playing around with drawing different emotions for more expressive faces speaking of which there's a bonus Kawakami sketch of her being happy that I am very pleased with (something about her just makes me feel like she'd give the BEST hugs!)

Will be playing around with more expressions tomorrow, I have some ideas for Kawakami...

I-NO Makoto is FINALLY done. She ended up taking over 5 hours to get right, and I'm still not completely happy with her stomach, but I am happy with the finished version. I used an IRL model photo the pose. Now I just need to decide on the next Persona X Guilty Gear I do....
