Riju with an astronomer reader (gender neutral) who takes her stargazing?

She doesn’t go outside the town much at all, her job as chief keeps her busy. She goes outside town even less at night because of the freezing cold of the desert.

However, bring some blankets and some warm gear and she’ll go outside with you.

You don’t go far outside the town’s walls but Buliara insists on staying within a certain radius of you just in case.

She stays out of earshot and keeps her back to you mostly, trying to give you both as much privacy as she can while still doing her job.

Riju will cuddle up next to you and shiver regardless of how much you prepare.

She’ll probably make a comment about how “This must be why seals have so much fur, it’s freezing.”

After a while of body heat sharing and enough kisses, she will start asking you questions with a flushed nose.

You’ll point out stars and constellations and she will ask you the story behind every name.

Some constellations she’ll have to have you draw out with your finger in the sky to get the shape.

Others she will be insistent that they don’t make any sense at all.

There will be a lot of teasing and a lot of laughter.

At the end of the night, she will not want to get up because you’re just so cozy even though she will burn up as the sun rises and she’s still wearing layered furs.
