Today I "just" had a stroll through the Ankor Wat temple.The Ankor temple complex with all the temples (including the Ankor Wat) is said to be the largest religious monument in the world. 1 626 000m2 (402 acres). T was originally a Hindu temple and then transformed into a Buddhist temple around the 12th century. It was build -according to the lonely planet-by Suryavarman II roughly around the same time as Westminster Abbey.
