i’ve had this as a wip for about a week and i finally finished it!! it was originally going to be lineless but i found out it didn’t look very look so i settled on doing lineart and using a lot of pink overlay (+ it was a good way for me to practice more with paint tool sai). i think i’m happy with how it came out :)
its also my first time actually seriously drawing my tim design! overall, very happy with how this piece turned out. i had another song in mind while drawing this but its such. tonal whiplash? if i link it right next to “ a death “ lyrics. so the other song i had in mind was end of the universe from little runmo. though its less of a tim song in my mind and more of an unknowing song.

#absolutely love the little hints you get at the longer lived strangers (the anglerfish. breekon+hope) not taking nikola all that seriously#she wasnt BORN a stranger she was MADE one by nikolai and shes too erratic and nonserious for actual pushes towards power for a--#--very long time. she let gertrude steal+burn the gorilla skin that was instrumental in at least one other ritual attempt she let jon--#--get away she just Cannot win for a good long while. the anglerfish did SO much in the organization of the unknowing (putting husks--#--like daniel rawlings in instrumental positions. building up the choir. broad fear farming) like oh i KNOW it hates her ass lol
