Morpheus' lobby is just as impressive as its exteriors. Bounded on opposite sides by pod-like scenic elevators, your gaze will be ushered upward to its transparent ceiling which itself is part of the exoskeleton envelope.

One indicator an urban park is well-designed is when it's actually utilized by people. And Ayala Triangle Gardens is an example frequently cited by architects and planners. It just ticks a lot of boxes--superb location, ground area, food amenities, shaded spots, maintained greenery, and hosting of public events.
Can't go wrong with a book and a drink on any lazy weekend afternoon here.

Zaha may not have seen this completed (2018), but she left this world with another masterly legacy. Perhaps she's making designs in Paradise and I'm not sure if I'll be able to see them myself 😅 Morpheus' striking exteriors of exoskeleton is a unique beast along the visual corridor of Cotai Strip that's full of "replica architecture".

If intricacy could kill, I'd have died as soon as I entered the lobby.

Passively cooled commercial buildings in the Philippines are not quite common, especially with something of this scale. Aside from most of the leasable spaces, all circulation are ventilated naturally, aided by some ceiling fans. This includes a steel ramp that wraps around the two sides of the development, boldly exposed as a creative feature. Hats off for bringing green concepts to life!
I wonder how this building will age through time. Will it continue to be bold as it fights challenges like weather, security, and social (customer) acceptance?
