I watched a full playthrough of forgotten lands and completely forgot how much I loved meta knight and dedede!! Turns out it was from my brother and I maining them in brawl years ago haha. Haven't drawn any Kirby in a decade either..
Auuugh why are your wings super badass but difficult?? There's like a few different ways they're illustrated in the games and media so I tried the simplified one. After tinkering with it a bit, it turned out real well!
