For a little fun, I decided to do a "modernization redesign" on an ultra-obscure Looney Tunes character. XD I went with Maarla, a Martian that only appeared in the first issue of the 1994-starting comics. She has a cute design already, so I didn't stray too far from it. XD

So I watched the original duck dodgers short from 1952 and two things:

Marvin's disintegration ray is A-1 brand, and works as intended. Daffy's is Acme brand, and the gun itself literally disintegrates on use. So I guess acme is just horrible at making products

When Marvin powers up his destruction weapon near the end, he's standing on a huge stack of books, which also leads me to remark that every other martian we've seen (except Maarla and Marcia) are significantly taller than Marvin. Is he just. Like. Incredibly tiny by martian standards or something?

I like to take various depictions of Looney Tunes characters and merge them together as much as possible so:

In Tiny Toons, Marvin has a daughter. In the DC comics, Marvin has two kids (Issue 84, his relationship with them is ambiguous.) In Loonatics Unleased, his descendant is Melvin. Who, with Marvin being over 2000 years old in present day, is likely his son.

So I headcanon that Marvin has four kids. Marcia's the oldest, the comic kids are twins in the middle, and Melvin's the youngest.

And their mom is Maarla, Marvin's girlfriend in both the first comic issue and this unreleased chapter.
